Absolute Perfection
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI bought this tv 2 months ago. This is hands down the greatest tv I’ve every seen. Beautiful picture. The blacks and the color are unbelievable. With that A9 processor, everything I watch looks 4K. Also I can turn on the HDR effect mode that basically converts SDR to HDR. So amazing. Quad Step noise reduction eliminated 90% of digital noise. The sound quality it the best. Front firing Dolby Atmos speakers. Wow. And the beautiful picture on glass design! I have my tv mounted and it looks so good on the wall. I decided to opt out of the geek squad mounting and attempted to do it myself. I was a very challenging event. And I’m a pretty handy however the the tv is super thin and the bottom of the tv is a sheet of glass. So it’s extremely fragile. I would highly recommend getting it mounted professionally.

Unbelievable Picture
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThe picture quality on this tv is phenomenal, with excellent color production, and an excellent viewing angle. As plasma tv owners since they came out we we’re used to the excellent picture quality and the great viewing angles that they provide and that can’t be provided by any Led tv’s. The Led tv’s look good but as soon as you start walking off angle the picture and colors start to change and that is not acceptable to us. These OLed’s are like the plasma’s were you can be at extreme angles and still get accurate picture quality and color reproduction. The picture is not as bright as the Led or Plasma tv’s but after changing the default settings the picture brightness is excellent. You may not think so especially if you are coming from an Led but you have to understand that most tv manufacturers run the brightness and contrast extremely high and they also over saturate the picture. So my suggestion would be to truly judge the picture quality in front of you and not compare to what you have been watching because that was probably an overly bright and saturated picture. The other great thing with the tv is the software built into it. WebOs is smooth and strong and runs extensively fast and is much better than the other OS’s I have seen on other smart tv’s.

Best TV Anywhere!
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendHad been looking at this OLED model for some time, and finally decided to take the plunge and upgrade. Picture-on-glass takes a bit of careful handling by two (2!) people to move it into place. After that, setup was a breeze. In a word, picture quality is simply astonishing -- nothing like it. Yes, it's pricey, but for cutting-edge technology, that's somewhat expected. The smart remote is a Bluetooth device and I was hoping to be able to connect a second for the other end of the open-space room; no such luck, as the system connects to only one Bluetooth device at a time. But that's a silly little quibble. In reality, I am one happy camper!

Awesome TV
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendExcellent TV for us in every way. The Best Buy buying process was excellent for us. This LG OLED has many features that stand out from the rest. Really like the "picture on glass" feature. If placed on top of a dark surface it really does give an impression of floating. The 60 watt audio is very good for us. No additional sound bar is needed. This was a big factor in the pricing as well as Best Buy price matching and being very helpful during that process as well. All thumbs up. Very happy with this purchase!

Aesthetically Beautiful and Almost Perfect
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendWe bought this TV because of the OLED display and the glass display. My wife loved the way it looked, it was lacking in the sound department. This was sitting in the bedroom, but was not loud enough for my wife's taste. We were going to buy a Soundbar, but that would have set us back at least $700 for the quality we were looking for. We took it back and bought the Sony Bravia TV. The Sony has a much better display (dept, contrast, color). It also has a 3.1 speaker system that is the best I have heard in a modern day TV. The speakers sound good enough to not have to buy a soundbar. Conclusion: If aesthetics are more important that the picture quality, sound, and price, get this TV - you won't be disappointed. I would give this a 4.5 if I could. I rounded it up to 5. *** Can't install Kodi on it ****

In Love With This TV
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI've been looking for an OLED TV for quite some time. This E8 series blows my mind with it's picture on glass design and deep blacks. The front speakers are plenty loud especially with the proper media content. The TV, however, it's very fragile and will break without adequate care. Buy now you won't be disappointed
