The range is just O.K. overall. The range top does not clean up easily. We replaced an old Maytag with a glass top and it was much easier to clean. It bakes fine and seems to hold a consistant temperature. I cant find much about it that I like as far as the operation goes. It is fairly hard to use for basic operations. I am an IT person and even I find the controls hard to understand. When you turn on a burner it is either on high 9.0 or low 1.0. It then requires that you press or hold the touch panel for 15-30 seconds to adjust your burners. This becomes particularly difficult when a hot pan is cooking away and you have to hold your arm over that pan. Do your self a favor and get a range with analog old school knobs on it. The knobs are so much more intuitive than this unresponsive touch panel. The panel is most likely easier to clean but this does not make up for all of the long list of short comings that you will face with this range. Look elsewhere.

We purchased this to match a new Auto D/W for a kitchen remodel. The lower utility drawer is nice as is the 5 burner stove top. There was some wisps of smoke the first time we tried to heat up the oven, so we turned it off. It wasn't until I went to the whirlpool website that I found a note in the owners manual that some smoke and oder are usual for a new appliance. Note that the operating instructions that come with the stove are terrible; hence, the 4-star rating. It is better to download the owner's manual from the website. While the topics covered are the same, the website version is more clearly laid out and easier to follow.

After having several problems with sciatica, I knew I needed a range with the oven higher up. I previously had a double oven but sometimes could not get down to get items out of the bottom oven. My husband's sister needed a range so it worked perfectly for us to get one that I would be able to use and let her have the one I had. The sales person showed us this one. It has the self cleaning that was a must. Also, it has the delayed start for the oven. In other words it has all the features that I wanted plus some! This is easy to use and prompts you if you forget to complete something that you start. The timers play music instead of just buzzing. So nice!

Save your money! This range looks great and fortunately performs however, the blue enamel on the bottom of our stove permanently dulled. LG calls it "normal wear" and "a cosmetic issue." After 6-months of use! I'm pretty OCD and I expected this oven to remain shiny blue. We are stuck with this unit and out the money we spent. The "Easy Clean" feature is also laughable and takes more than one cycle to clean normal burnt on food particles.

The range has many great features and has worked well for the two weeks we have had it. We especially like the touch control panel, both for convenience and modern styling. There are only two somewhat negatives we have noticed - the storage drawer doesn't hold tall pots and cleaning of the stainless steel is much harder than the older enamel range we had before. Be prepared to spend a lot of time removing finger prints and smudges - something we never had to do before. But that's the price you have to pay for the popular stainless steel look and the glass top cooking surface..

This oven is huge inside and will hold several dishes when baking. The convection automatically corrects baking/roasting temperatures so you don't have to worry about converting from regular to convection. First use, I cooked a pork loin wrapped in bacon. Of course, the bacon spattered and the "EasyClean" feature did not perform quite as well as I had hoped on it. Had to get the baking soda and lemon juice out to finish it. If it weren't for that, I would give this 5 stars. Even so, I would absolutely buy this again.

After the first stove showed up with half the side caved in from the delivery, it took quite a few more days to get another delivery. Seems to be working just fine. The sheet metal in this stove is way thinner than any other stove I've ever owned. Bottom drawer seems very flimsy. I like the touchpad for the controls. You don't have to push to get the stove to do what you want. You just barely touch it like your smartphone to get a response.

Purchased an LG electric stove for our vacation home based on our favorable experience over the past 7 years with our LG stove at our primary residence. It is important that you read the owner's manual to learn about the care and maintenance of the ceramic stove top surface, and inside the oven as LG has incorporated new technologies. Lessons learned with our 7 year old stove will keep our new stove in "showroom" condition.
