Awesome image
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love our new TV. We gave our old TV to my parents and my husband thought it was a great idea just so he could pick out a new toy for our living room. Great choice, perfext size, and the image is so crisp.

Tvs are good, mounts and sound bar not so much
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.LG TVS ARE VERY GOOD, clear and easy to use. Sound bar looks like it is mounted wrong. Very difficult to change the sound. One tv mount is too close to the wall and the cable attach spot makes it tilt up.

Input lag/poor blacks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is the biggest purchase I've made In years and I'm very disappointed. It has Vertical white bands and poor blacks along with blurry script & lag on (Man of steel) B-ray. It boasts 120Hz but more like 60Hz, if you turn off all the "cool" sounding processors its smoother. I wish I exchanged it when I had time I'm stuck with it now. I would not recommend this tv for gamers. I am a quality assurance inspector for the cable company & I see better 1080p Tv's every day.

Color, picture, sound is absolutely excellent!!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this 65" LG smart tv for a Christmas present for my husband with the LG sound bar! I think he is in LOVE! I looked at all the tv's on the market today and only one other compared to the LG and that was Sony! Only I didn't have the Sony money at the time. The sound, picture and color are amazing. Can't wait to start using the SMART part of the tv.

Love it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Would recommend. The picture quality is amazing. I had previously purchased a Vizio smart TV that I had to return, was nothe happy with. This one has more pre-installed apps and the Web browser is easier to use. Even has youtube on it. Only complaint is sometimes I have to reconnect my internet, sometimes not so it is time consuming. If using for long periods of time YouTube is likely to freeze and at times netflix so I have to restart. If this was not an issue for me I'd give 5 stars.

Nice budget priced 4k TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV was purchased to replace a 55" Samsung 3D LED Smart TV that lost HDMI port functionality after just over a year. Samsung wouldn't do anything because it was beyond the 1 year warranty period so we bought the LG to replace it. That will be the last Samsung product I purchase. So far, the LG is going strong and has a really nice picture. We lost 3D when we went to this TV but we will just watch 3D movies on our Benq W1070 projector instead so no big loss. We picked up this model for less than $1500, which isn't too bad for a 65" 4k LED Smart TV. I do notice some flaws here an there but overall it was a great buy and hasn't had any issues since we purchased it about 2 months ago.

Great TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture is stunning! Setup is very easy. Unfortunately, the written documentation is very brief. The on-screen help system is poorly designed and organized and not at all intuitive. You need to already know how to operate the TV before you can figure out how to use the on-screen instructions. The basic remote shipped with the TV is almost useless. You must be within 3 feet of the TV for it to work. You don't buy a 65" TV and then sit within 3 feet of the thing. LG took 3 weeks to get me a replacement remote, and the new one is just as bad. Getting the TV to communicate with my networked computers was very easy thanks to the LG WebOs. Playing movies or music from the computer or phone to the TV's crummy speakers was painless using the TV's own software. The audio is poor, so plan an buying something to improve it. The USB port is well hidden on the back of a set. Worthless is you mount the TV on the wall. Not very convenient for a table mount either. If you plan to make frequent use of it you will need some type of extension cable to hang down from the back.

Great tv for the price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We came into the store looking for a different tv than this one. We did product comparisons and this tv was far better for the same price (it was on sale)! It was such a great tv that we went back and bought a second one. The sound is amazing and the picture is so crisp! I also love that it's so easy to operate that my younger children can find what they are looking for on their own. Did I mention they have an app?!?! If you lose your remote or want an easier way to search your tv, the LG app works seamlessly with the tv. Over all a great buy!

If you want the best picture quality that this LG - 65" Class (64.5" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV - Black, Model # 65UF6800 and any connected video device can give you, you should get the TV calibrated. Q: QuestionWIFI connectionDo I need anything special to broadcast an image from a computer across my wifi network to the TV or do I need another connection to make this possible? Problem is I can't run an hdmi cable between the 2 items as it is an existing room so need something wireless.

- A:Answer There are several ways to enjoy videos, music and photos saved on your PC on the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 65" Class (64.5" Diagonal) Prime 4K UHD Smart LED TV w/ webOS 2.0, Model # 65UF6800 bundles Screen Share and Content Share functionality under the advertised SmartShare feature. SmartShare is LG's name for DLNA. Content Share allows you to enjoy videos, music and photos saved on your PC and if the computer operating system is Windows 7 or Windows 8, you can play music, video, or photos on your TV without installing an additional program. Configure the TV and PC on the same network. Also configure the network on the PC installed with Windows 7 or Windows 8. Right-click the desired music, video, or photo file, and select the model using the Play To function provided in Windows 7 or Windows 8 to play what is selected. To play on other devices like your mobile phone, refer to the relevant user guide. If your PC supports Intel® WiDi and it supports connections over the Intel® WiDi 3.5 version, you can start the Screen Share app on the TV then start Intel® WiDi on the device you want to connect. Your TV will be displayed in the list of available devices and you can select your TV to request a connection, and a message asking you to enter an 8-digit PIN will appear on the TV screen. Enter the PIN and select Connect. After the connection is established, the TV will display the screen of the connected device. Intel® WiDi allows connections without a wireless router. For the best possible performance, connect your device to a 5 GHz router. You can also use SmartShare PC Software or Smartphone to connect the music/videos/photos saved on the PC to your home network and play them on your TV. Configure the TV and device (e.g., smartphone) installed with SmartShare on the same network. The SmartShare service is only available when the TV and all the devices are connected to a single router. If you are using a PC, download and install SmartShare PC Software from the website. Before installation, exit all programs running on the PC, such as a firewall or an anti-virus software. The server should be running in order to watch the shared file on your TV. To watch the 1080p video through Content Share function, a router that uses 5 GHz frequency is required. If a 2.4 GHz router is used, the video may not play properly. The Content Share function may not be supported for a router that does not support multi-cast. For more information, refer to the user guide that came with your router or contact the manufacturer. DRM files in the connected device will not play and there are too many folders or files in a folder, it may not work properly. Depending upon the encoding, some streams may not play in content sharing mode and information on the file imported from the connected device may not be displayed correctly...^IFV

Q: QuestionQUALITY OF PICTUREI'm using 1st hdmi port for my tv. As stated in my previous question. Not real happy bout quality of picture and tried all settings from standard on. Am I doing something wrong. I''m using 4K cable. Am I suppose to use port 1 or should I use other port? Please help me figure out best settings for best quality picture. Thanks John
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer You should be getting a great picture. Just make sure all size for video are set up correctly on cable/satellite box as well. Sometimes things go to the default setting and mess up your picture. Also make sure you are viewing on true HD channels. Some companies still have standard and HD seperate. Some pictures also just depend on the carrier of your service. This was a new TV for my parents and they have even changed from Time Warner to AT&T. Both companies have shown equally great picture. Sometimes it nearly looks like a live show vs recorded their is so much clear detail. The customer service number for the TV is very helpful. Let them take you through the setup if needed. If still having problems see if you can have it exchanged for a new TV in case it just turned out to be a bad set.
