Customers are saying
Customers are delighted by the exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and sleek design of the 65" Class A1 Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV. They appreciate the easy setup and find that the price is reasonable for an OLED TV. While some customers would prefer a higher refresh rate, most agree that the 60hz refresh rate does not significantly detract from the overall viewing experience.

Finally a worthy alternative to my old plasma TV.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture on this set is nothing short of amazing. The blacks and colors are perfect on this TV. I spent the last two months in store comparing this model to the C1. Personally I couldn't see much difference in brightness even though I know the C1 gets brighter. I don't game, and I have watched multiple sporting events on this TV without issue. The TV gets plenty bright for me. I turned off energy saver and that seemed to help as well and set peak brightness to high in the advance picture settings. I have a friend who has one of the new Samsung NEO QLEDS. That TV is has a great picture and gets insanely bright, but even in dark scenes I still see blooming. It just can't match the black levels of an OLED. I used to have a 42 inch Panasonic plasma and a 50 inch Samsung plasma. the picture was awesome on these TVS. However, when i moved, I bought a house that had too many windows and the glare was too much for the panels to handle. I sold the TVS and went with an LED TV. definitely brighter, but didn't have the PQ of my plasma TVS. As the years have gone by the OLEDs have become more affordable. I already had a 65 inch LED, but wanted to get an OLED. When this TV dropped to $1499, I started to take a strong look at it. When I would look at the TV and then look at the other LED TVS at Best Buy the picture on those sets looked washed out compared to the OLEDS. I made the jump to OLED and could never be happier. I never thought that TV manufactures would be able to rival the PQ of plasmas. I do want to note that I have blinds on windows but have opened them in broad daylight to see how this TV would perform. During the day, I have the TV set to expert daytime and it didn't disappoint. Now granted, I don't have any windows directly behind it, but they are just to the side. This TV shines when the lights go dim, and in my personal opinion obliterates LED tvs. I think this TV is great and I don't believe you will be disappointed. Granted the C1 has more features, but I don't care about those. I just care about Picture Quality and this TV definitely nails it in that category.

Amazing picture in every lighting situation
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.beautiful picture, and I love that all my streaming apps are built- in. They’ve updated their WebTVOS and it’s a major improvement from the older LG 4K TVs. It could definitely be a bit more responsive, but that’s only a minor complaint. It is razor thin and appears as if it’s floating off the wall :-) In my opinion, most TVs have poor speakers, so I won’t review that hear. There about the same as similarly priced TVs.

Perfect replacement for a much loved plasma
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced a 17 year old Panasonic 42” plasma TVs. Beautiful picture, fairly easy setup (did ourselves). Hardest thing, due to its size was that it required two people to lift.

Q: QuestionIs professional installation worth it? Can one person safely install this TV on a stand?

Q: QuestionWhy is the refresh rate only 60Hz? At this price 240Hz should be provided.
Asked by becket01.
- A:Answer Not true! Refresh rate is not picture quality! If you want your movies to look more like video go 240hz more like film 60hz. Don’t confuse refresh rate with picture quality

Q: QuestionDo I need to purchase a Sound Bar or is the standard sound acceptable?
Asked by KM.
- A:Answer The standard sound is fine, but it depends on what kind of experience you’re looking for. We purchased a Klipsch sound bar with Sub for the one we have in the living room and it’s not theatre quality but it keeps me from going upstairs to the theatre. The one in the bedroom doesn’t need to be that loud, in my opinion.
