Excellent upgrade - color a dissapointment
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This stove has been a tremendous upgrade over our 20 year old Kenmore. Wife has been very happy with the even heat and temperature control. The double oven has allowed us to throw out the toaster oven. There are only 2 dings on this stove making it 4 stars - The control knobs are hard to read. the shiny look makes the grey hard to read. A higher contrasting color might help, but once your are "used" to using the stove and reading the control panel, it becomes a non issue. the other ding is that the "black" stainless is more of a dark grey. I almost refused delivery because it was lighter than my non LG dishwasher until I verified the model number. The cooktop is surrounded by stainless steel and the control panel to match the "black" stainless looks gray. The sides are steel with black enamel so their is a "tri color" look if you are viewing it at an angle. The lighting in my pictures is a bit off, but it shows this contrast. We had looked at this stove in the store, but did not notice the color changes.

Best stove ever!!!!!
||Posted .Owned for 3 months when reviewed.I really love my new stove. I use both too and bottom. The glass stove top is very easily scratched by pots. Even with that I can’t take away any stars. It doesn’t have lips on either side, but it replaced my freestanding stove very easily.

Great appliance, solid performance.
||Posted .Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This range has many useful features that I have found to be quite useful. My favorite is the convection feature (limited to the bottom oven) because it bakes foods more evenly. The only drawbacks I've noticed after a year of owning is that the "easy clean" feature leaves a lot to be desired. Baked on residue is still a task to remove and the glass window begins to turn yellowish - still looking for a good way to clean the oven thoroughly. The top, smaller oven preheats quickly and performs well. The stovetop does scratch easily, so be careful with older pots/pans.

So far loving it.
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Loving baking and cooking with this oven. It heats super fast and bakes very evenly. Bonus is it is very pretty. I have had it about 6 weeks and we cook a lot. Any spills on glass too come right off with product I put in photos. I have not noticed that it scratches easily as some reviews mentioned. The only reason I took one star off value is that it seemed very pricey but I guess so far fairly worth almost $3,000 cost.

Breaks Easily and No One to Support the Product
||Posted .Owned for 4 months when reviewed.Purchased this stove 2 months ago. A spice bottle fell on it and cracked/chipped the entire cooktop. I had an extended warranty but it was not covered by Geek Squad, so they issued me a refund however I cannot use my cooktop. I cannot get a hold of anyone at LG to see if it is covered under the manufacturers warranty. Their support is lacking and very overwhelmed. I would not recommend an LG product at this point as they cannot support the products they sell. I cannot find the serial number anywhere on the piece of equipment so they can't give me any information or the necessary part number to order so that an appliance repair company can fix it. Super frustrting experience. Do not recommend.

Q: QuestionCan you cook a turkey in this oven?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I did a 14 lb one with no problem for Thanksgiving. I think I could have done an 18-20 lb one easy enough.

Q: QuestionIt says the top is ceramic...I understand it is not scratch proof..but, how scratch resistant is it?
Asked by Cahoontzer.
- A:Answer Like most ceramic cooktops, the ceramic cooktop on the LG 7.3 Cu. Ft. Self-Clean Slide-In Double Oven Electric Smart Wi-Fi Range with Convection, Model # LTE4815ST is scratch resistant but it is not scratch proof as you pointed out. Sometimes marks may appear on the glass ceramic that seem to be scratches but are really marks from a pan or pot and can be removed by cleaning. You should only use pans and pots with smooth bottoms while cooking on the ceramic cooktop and periodically scrub the bottom of your pans to remove any burned on food that will scratch or damage the stove. Never move the pans and pots back and forth across the surface, pick them up instead...^IFV

Q: QuestionDoes it have a feature to lock the stove knobs for the burners?
Asked by PS.
- A:Answer Yes kind of. You can press and hold the lock button for 3 seconds and it will lock both oven doors closed and keep the burners from coming on. You can turn the knobs and it plays a musical note but the burners won’t turn on

Q: QuestionDoes this range have a down draft?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Hi anonymous! It does not have a downdraft. The vents that you see in the back of the cooktop actually vent the oven itself. This is by far the best oven I have owned in 20+ years. This unit replaced a Samsung “dual oven” that died after 3 years but truly never worked properly. Geek squad replaced it with this model. Love love love this....I even dehydrated 8 lbs of mangoes last week!

Q: QuestionDo both upper and lower ovens cook evenly? We do a lot of baking, especially for Christmas. I'm a little concerned about the heating elements in the ovens being on the back wall.
Asked by akfalk.
This question was asked about the related product: LG - 7.3 Cu. Ft. Smart Slide-In Double Oven Electric True Convection Range with EasyClean and 3-in-1 Element - Black stainless steel
- A:Answer So far, yes. I would definitely look at the rack/item placement recommendation that they have in the use book. Also stay away from putting things in while it's pre-heating, common sense. But when you come from a 15yr old oven you have to adjust your flow.

Q: QuestionI can`t get the range top clean. I have followed all the instructions
Asked by marshaa.
- A:Answer Gently use a scraper, then a soft cloth to remove the scrapings, follow by the cleaner provided. Polish it with the soft cloth. Repeat as needed. There you clean it the easier it gets. Good luck
