A great dryer with some strange issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This is a great appliance. I'm going to focus on a couple of issues but they are FYI. You should buy this washer. One of the cool things about this appliance is the way the doors can swing two ways. To the side to pull out clothes and to the front to slide them in. The wireless app works well and you can turn on the light during the cycle. It is stingy as far as cycle modifiers. More so than its matching washer. It really doesn't want to tumble low except for delicates which is a short time to dry. You cannot change it in any other modes. Why not, LG? If you want a low temp wash, you have to download it from the app but it is cool that you can do this. The damp sensor isn't great. My 25-year-old Kenmore did a better job but it also used a lot more electricity. With towels and sheets, you may need to add some extra time or select a higher dampness level. A lot of towel and sheet manufactures recommend low for drying and that can be a pain here if you don't remember to modify the cycle. The steam fresh feature 100% works. I left a shirt in overnight and it wrinkled but the steam feature fixed it in less than 10 minutes. It came out slightly damp. You may need a few minutes on low to take care of that or let it hang to dry. These issues should not stop you from buying. I am very pleased with this appliance.

I was pleased and had them delivered and installed and works flawlessly! Highly recommended! Quiet fast efficient what more can you ask for? We do a lot of laundry and zero issues hasn’t skipped a beat!

Great deal on LG clothes washer & dryer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Our old washer finally failed after 16 years (average life span is 8 years!). Decided to buy a new one, and although our dryer was still working, we decided to replace that as well which comes with a discount if you purchase both. Delivery was delayed, but only by a few days and the Geek Squad installers were great. No issues there, and the new LG's are fantastic.

Worth the extra money
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.The only negative thing I have to say is the sensor that stops the dryer when it feels your clothes are dry is a bit off. Usually have to add more time but can always set the settings to a different mode. Love the steam option, hooks right up to the same washer hookup. Door opens to the side or downward which is a nice extra feature to have. Love this set!

- A:Answer The dryer comes with a small length of hose that connects from the cold water faucet that is normally used for the washer, to an included Y connector where you attach the hoses for the washer and the dryer.

Q: QuestionCan the door be flipped? Our subcontractors put the washer hook ups on the right. Not the left.

- A:Answer Yes, the dryer door can be flipped. The manual tells you how to do it, but it is an involved process. My suggestion: put it in your purchase contract that the installer will do it. We didn't, the delivery people installed the washer and dryer and were gone before my wife could check the installation and remind them to change the door to open the proper way. But we shouldn't have had to tell them. Anybody can see that when the washer is to the right of the dryer, and a wall is to the left of the dryer, the door should open from right to left. It does not take a rocket scientist to see that the door needed to be reversed. My wife called the store when she saw that the door had not been reversed. The store passed the buck and said to call the delivery people. My wife did, and they said they'd sent the crew back at the end of the day. They didn't, and we never heard anything more. We're still annoyed with Best Buy and their delivery service, and still living with a door that doesn't open the right way. GRRRRRRR. My advice, buy somewhere else with better delivery and customer service. I'm a very unhappy customer for sure.

Ft. 14-Cycle Electric Dryer with TurboSteam™ - Graphite Steel, Model # DLEX7800VE has a water inlet valve on it that needs to be connected to a cold water supply line. Included with the dryer is a "Y" connector that allows you to share the cold water supply line with your washer, a long and a short hose to make the necessary connections to the "Y" connector and to the dryer...^IFV

- A:Answer I had the same issue on my first LG until I placed a matt underneath the dryer and this quieted the dryer by 75%. So far after leveling and placing a matt underneath it is by far the quietest dryer I have ever owned

- A:Answer This dryer has an LED light in the drum that automatically turns on when the dryer is turned on, and when a cycle has finished. If you need the light to stay on a bit longer or just want to peak in side during a cycle, you can hold the (Wrinkle Care) button for 3 seconds to activate the drum light. I hope this helps.
