A: Life is Not Good. LNG. Purchased this unit a few months ago and was also surprised that their are no humidity controls on said vegetable/fruit bins. Have been losing vegetables because of the lack of control. Who ever heard of a higher-end unit not having humidity control at the bin level. The owners manual indicates that certain models don't have them. But who reads the owners manual prior to purchasing? I also purchased online, so did not realize this until it was installed and obviously was too late. Disappointed in LG.

So far so good and double ice makers a plus
I've had this refrigerator for several months and I've found it to be great so far. Having 2 ice makers is a real plus since the door ice maker doesn't hold a lot of ice. Your freezer ice maker reservoir does hold a lot and that helps when you have company. The only thing that's annoying is that you can't use the water/ice dispenser as long as the other refrigerator door is open. So if you start dispensing ice in your glass and someone else comes along and opens the opposite door, your dispensing stops. Not a huge deal, but slightly annoying. I almost don't care as long as it continues to work well. I haven't had good luck with refrigerators, but so far so good with this one. The inside refrigerator compartment is spacious and even though I have a back-up refrigerator, I haven't needed it too much at all. Freezer is spacious also. Very attractive design and a quick wipe-down of the stainless steel is all that's needed to make it look perfect again.

Love my new fridge!
I replaced a side by side refrigerator which seemed to run all the time (hummed constantly) and did not hold enough groceries for a 2-person household without some real jenga skills. This new fridge is amazing! It’s quiet, it’s roomy, it looks great. The only time I hear it is when it is drawing water to make ice (a few secs). The ice bin in the freezer makes ice so quickly. We use the outside dispenser for water and just grab ice from the freezer. As some have mentioned, the 3-step rotation in the door dispenser is a little annoying, but it’s easy to overlook when I love everything else about this fridge. Someone mentioned that the lighting wasn’t bright enough in the refrigerator, but that may have been an old model. The lighting in this model is excellent. I can see everything from front to back. The freezer lighting is good, too. While this model is slightly smaller than some, it holds a lot of food. My photos show everything that was packed into my old refrigerator with plenty of room in the new refrigerator. I love not having to constantly dig for items in the back. The shelves do have some limitations, but we make it work. It’s really no big deal. I have never had a counter width refrigerator before. It looks really sleek and does not stick out like my old fridge did.

A perfect match for modern day townhome
Excellent Performance & Silent Operation – Perfect for a Modern Townhome I purchased the LG 25.5 cu. ft. Counter-Depth MAX French Door Smart Refrigerator (Model: LRFLC2706S) from Best Buy on May 31, 2025, for my newly built two-story townhome, and I couldn’t be more pleased with this appliance. Ease of Use: From the moment it was installed, the user interface felt intuitive and well thought out. The digital controls are clear and responsive, and I love how easily the shelves adjust to accommodate different sized items. The dual ice makers (including the craft ice option) are a fantastic bonus — no more running out of ice during gatherings! Performance & Longevity: In the few weeks I've used it, performance has been flawless. It cools evenly and quickly, and produce stays crisp noticeably longer than my old fridge. The door-in-door feature is great for quick access to frequently used items, and everything from meats to leftovers stays fresh. Given LG's reputation and the premium build quality, I expect this fridge to last for many years without a hitch. Energy Efficiency: This model is ENERGY STAR® certified, and it shows.
