Everything about this phone is the best.the display is unbelievable, a pleasure to watch streaming video. Just the best I have ever seen. Feels good in the hand likewise, thin and beautiful. The other outstanding feature of this phone is the battery. I can charge it, surf, email, watch streaming content for hours and 12-14 hours later still have 30-40% left. Haven't been able to kill the battery yet. Love the. back position of the power button and volume controls. The knock on feature is outstanding too. The only fault I can find is the slickness of the plastic on the back, would be nicer with a tackier grip. Still the best I have seen.

This is a fantastic all-around and arguably the best Android phone ever. High powered processor, beautiful 1080p screen, great camera, and best in class battery. The double tap feature to turn on and off the phone is also genius. Only cons I put to get used to is the button placement on the back, and LG's version of Android leaves a little something to be desired out of the box. But fortunately it is rather customizable and you can get it rather close to a stock Android experience with a little effort. Love this phone overall!

This is the best smartphone I've owned so far. It is fast and powerful, has a beautiful display, sports a surprisingly full-featured camera and has great sound, especially the speakerphone. Call quality is excellent, and people that I've talked to have had no complaints about hearing me. The camera is also rather good, featuring 13 megapixels in 4:3 and 10 megapixels in 16:9, a variety of settings and the ability to make adjustments for those who are knowledgeable about photography. Video playback is great and the sound is pretty good for a smartphone. I streamed a movie on the Netflix app and it performed flawlessly (I was using a Wi-Fi connection at the time). It handles Google's KitKat operating system well, and I have had no problems with the phone after it updated the software. Probably the best thing about the phone is the price. With the G3 coming out sometime this year (supposedly), the G2 is on clearance. According to what I've read, the G3 has only a few minor upgrades to hardware and functionality, so getting the G2 for free with a 2-year contract is a smart choice. Unless you have to have the latest and greatest, this is a powerful phone for a bargain price. Probably the only downside to the phone is the power and volume buttons on the back. Most phones have these buttons on the side and/or top, so those who have used smartphones over the years may find it difficult to get used to the buttons being on the back. Because the phone is of the larger variety, it does make it easier to reach them one-handed, but pressing the button you want can be a challenge, and there is not much that distinguishes the power button from the volume buttons. I've turned the screen off on a number of occasions when I wanted to change the volume. The buttons are bigger and easier to press than buttons on some phones. It is something that takes a little getting used to. Compared to everything else about the G2, the button placement is a minor issue. Overall, the G2 is an excellent, powerful phone for a bargain price.
