With this LG pedestal washer on your side, you can divide and conquer your laundry—and the rest of your day—like never before.

For every big load you wash, there are smaller loads that are a big deal. The compact LG SideKick is specially designed for your small, custom-care laundry loads.
So you can clean three days of sweat-laden spin class gear now rather than waiting for a full load in your regular washer. Discrete compact washer sits underneath the main washing machine. Also acts as a pedestal to elevate the front load washer for easier loading and unloading.
Built-in Convenience
Use LG SideKick on its own or at the same time as the front load washer above to save time. Each washer operates independently, so you can wash one load in hot and one in cold at the same time. Start or stop a cycle or open the door on either washer without interrupting the other.

Q: Can you stack the dryer on the washer if the washer is on the sidekick. (1 answers)
A: Yes, as long as the dryer and washing machine are compatible. ^AC- A: It can run independently. We often use it that way. Note that it has its own plumbing and electrical. Make sure your outlet in the laundry room, which is usually a single 30 amp three-prong, is either changed to a double-outlet or you have an adapter that can handle the current if both waster and sidekick are running.
- A: Total height is 55 1/2 inches. The 5.2 capacity washer is 41" tall, 29" wide & 30" deep (plus you will need atleast 10" more behind the unit for hookup). The pedestal is another 14" tall with same depth and width.
- A: The LG 29 in. 1.0 cu. ft. SideKick Pedestal Washer in Graphite Steel, Model # WD200CV installs beneath your LG front load washer, just like a regular pedestal. It has its own power cord that plugs into a standard 120V/60 Hz household outlet, so there’s no need for special wiring. You also won’t need separate water or drain lines—the SideKick™ washer includes two Y-connectors for the hot and cold water lines, a third Y-connector for the drain and the necessary hoses to install the SideKick™ in concert with your LG front load washer. The SideKick™ and your front load washer operate independently, so you can wash one load in hot and one load in cold at the same time. You can also start or stop a cycle or open the door on either washer without interrupting the other. It offers six distinct cycles. Each cycle offers a unique combination of wash motions, water temperatures, rinse cycles and spin speeds that is ideally suited for the different types of loads. Depending on the cycle you choose, the LG SideKick™ washer automatically employs one of three wash motions, WaveForce,™ Rubbing or Swinging, to ensure optimal cleaning performance for all of your smaller loads. Just like any other washer, simply lift the lid and load clothes into the tub, making sure to avoid overloading. Use the detergent cup that comes with the washer to add the correct amount of liquid or powder HE detergent and then close the lid. Press the Power button and select your desired cycle, press Start/Pause and slide the drawer back into the frame. ^CP
- A: The main washer is Huge (5.2 capacity). The Sidekick is 1.0 capacity, which is a smaller separate washer that sits underneath the main washer and it is a pedestal.
- A: The LG 29" SideKick™ 1.0 Cu. Ft. 6-Cycle High-Efficiency Pedestal Washer - Graphite Steel, Model # WD200CV has less than an inch of clearance under it and you will not be able to place a washer tray/pan under it. You can use a washer tray/pan that the entire unit can fit in that has enough clearance spacing in front of the SideKick™ Pedestal Washer that allows you to open the drawer or has a lip that is less than an inch. The SideKick™ Pedestal Washer has a depth of 50 9/16" with the drawer open which means you need a clearance of over 19 11/16" in front of the SideKick™ Pedestal Washer to open the drawer fully...^IFV
