LifeProof - nüüd Case for Apple® iPhone® 5 and 5s - White/Clear

I have had the case for a little over a month now. It has been in the ocean and in the bay with no water damage to the phone what so ever. I also have dropped the phone on concrete and again no damage. The only down side is the screen has already got 2 small scratches and they did not happen when dropped. I would definitely buy another at this point though. I attached a photo taken with the phone submerged in the water.

When i first got the case, everything was going smoothly, clear calls, still water tight, perfectly fine. and then i made the mistake of taking the phone out and putting it back in again! DON'T DO THIS. or at least if you do. test each seal to make sure it is seated properly, meaning the headphone plug seal, the seal around the screen the seal connecting the back and front of the case and one very special one, the one on the inside of the case around the microphone hole. there is a little black o-ring that if you put the top of the phone in the case before the bottom, sliding the bottom in will push this out of place and sliding interfering with the low tolerance microphone diagram. is you are experiencing muffled or "tunnel sounding" calls open the case and check this seal (picture attached). If it looks out of place, remove it carefully and replace it so it is centered over the square hole of on the case. knowing this, overall this is a great case. A little pricy, but still worth it.

I love the fact I can run or walk or do any activity outside and not worry about getting my phone wet. I really don't like the fact that the screen protector is so loose bubbles up and makes it hard for the touchscreen to work properly. If you're looking for an iPhone case that is durable and water proof this is the one. If you're looking for an I phone case that is durable and waterproof and easy to use the touchscreen on, this is not a good choice.

This is the second case I bought for my daughter. She loves to take pictures and video at the pool. There is a good variety of colors to match anyone's taste. Even when she had dropped the phone while not in the case, the screen cracked terribly but we were able to put it back in the case and use the phone until we were able to get a new phone. The case protected even a badly damaged phone!

There couldn't have been a better case than this one. My phone is totally protected. This case is not bulky at all. It's not ugly. There are lots of color options. I am a welder and work in a dirty environment. With this case I am assured that my phone will stay safe and clean. So far no metal shavings or dust have gotten into my case to my phone.

Stylish case with maximum protection possible. Worth every penny spent on the case. If within a year, the case breaks or fails life proof has a warranty. Truly, none of this fine print mess. No other case protects like this.

Whatever you do, DO NOT BUT THIS CASE!! I purchased this case with the intent of it protecting my phone. I was completely wrong! I dropped my iphone with the case on and it cracked. It wasn't even a hard long fall, it was from about 4 feet which is not high at all! Please Please save yourself the money and heartbreak and just get an otterbox defender, it may not be waterproof but, at least you wont have a cracked screen. Very disappointed will be returning TODAY!!!!! If i could give this phone case 0 starts I would. DO NOT BUY!!! Now I have to pay 220 dollars for a replace phone! I even called Lifeproof and there customer service was just rude! She told me that, that is why they have the fine print on the back of the box stating that it may not do what it is supposed. So upset that they can market a phone case that can not even be protected from a light drop. Words cannot even describe how upset I am!
