What a Difference
I am very pleased with the performance of my Linksys AC1200 wireless range extender as it has certainly strengthened my WiFi signal in areas of my home, which were weak previously. The unit is not very expensive and easily set up. There are many on the market, but I am very satisfied this purchase.

Fast, Easy, High-End.
Went to best buy to find a wifi range extender, and there were many of them. The Linksys AC1200 was only $105 at my local best buy which is on the high side, but I think it's worth it, especially in my big house. The setup is the easiest thing ever, Only 5 steps. This extender maintains high speeds and it has a huge range. But of course like every router/extender, they lose some signals while travelling through my walls. The 4 ethernet ports are a welcomed feature because my apple tv, tv, blu ray, and Wii U are right next to eachother so I can get ethernet cables wired to those (only 1 ethernet cable is included). The last thing is this extender has a pretty cool feature, It lets you stream music from a pc or smartphone/ipad, to a speaker, if the speaker is plugged into the 3.5mm port on the extender itself. Wireless speaker functionality! Build Quality 10/10 Ease of use 10/10 Speed 10/10 Range 10/10 Value 9/10 I highly recommend this extender.

Not impressed.
Bought this Wifi extender to eliminate the gaps in signal availability and intermittent signal loss in a room only 15 feet away from my Linksys dual band router. Bought this model with high gain antennas to assure better range. Didn't happen. Signal is still spotty and often nonexistent. The amber indicator light (loss of signal) comes on several times a day. Product is placed in the optimal location per their spot finder program.
