Great game, nice stuffed animal bonus
||Posted .The game is fine. The stuffed animal toy is a very good reason to get this version.

Great fun multiplayer game!
||Posted .LBP3 is a continuation of LBP 1 and 2. As such, all the same mechanics are present with some fantastic new tweaks, including better wall / object grabbing precision, better jumping, and 16 layers to switch between instead of the standard 4. The layer switching, particularly, is a point in it's favor. When LBP1 came out, I found that it's greatest shortcoming was the difficulty a player would have switching between layers. It was often clunky and resulted in characters getting stuck behind the scenery. With LBP3, they've made transitioning much smoother and easier to do, so this is much less of an issue and sackboy/girl actually behaves the way you want them to. I haven't delved too deep into the creation tools but from what I have seen, they have greatly streamlined the experience. Level creation is easier than it was previously, What's more, you cna upload levels made in LBP1 or 2 and play / share them in 3, so there's virtually no end to the content you'll get out of this title. Soundtrack is, as usual, great. Better than in LBP2 for sure, with a return to more indie rock and alternative music that blends very well with the overall experience while still standing out in a good way. If you liked LBP1 or 2, you should get 3. This is Little Big Planet on steroids, with more level options, a better structured story mode, fantastic creation tools, and all the charm you've come to expect from the series.

This series is a modern classic
||Posted .The new LBP is a jump into another dimension for gameplay. The addition of different characters and abilities puts a fresh spin on a genre that has dwindled in popularity over the years. The co-op play is just plain fun that is hard to replicate in other games. If you haven't played a LBP game before, this is a great place to start. But I highly recommend looking into trying to play the first two games if you have access to a PS3. It's not at all essential to play LBP3, but the experience is totally worth it. This third game is somewhat short in its main story campaign. But there are so many user-created levels that are really detailed and amazing, that it is like having free DLC!

The best of the series!
||Posted .When I first heard that little big planet three was being made I was very excited. I spent countless hours playing Little big planet one and two. I knew that the new characters would just add more depth to the gameplay and I could not wait to get my hands on the game. Thankfully I was not let down. This game is fantastic, it went beyond all of my wildest expectations. It's both fun and challenging, very funny, and makes you want to come back and play again and again and again. The levels that were created by other players is vast and almost never ending. The new mechanics only accentuate the games that came before. Don't hesitate for looking at this game and considering picking it up. Just grab it, go home and prepare to spend several hours laughing and having a great time and being highly entertained.

Short Story but Big Entertainment
||Posted .My wife and I tried playing this game together, and while we were able to beat most of the levels on which we co-oped, there wasn't a lack of frustration. The story mode is how you unlock the three new characters and while I consider the game to be relatively simple and still quite fun, it's disappointing when my wife just wants to play as the last unlockable character. She struggled in some parts which makes me question if a typical child could enjoy this game as much as I do; I would consider this a child-friendly game otherwise. My wife is not a big gamer, she likes simple games and LBP3 requires a combination of button pressing and direction at certain points. That is where my wife struggles to keep up. All in all, the game is still quite fun and quite cute. I don't know how much I'll end up playing on the user-created content; I hope I play quite a bit and get my money's worth, but we have yet to see the things my wife can do to enjoy this game.

Awesome Game. Lot of fun for the whole Family!
||Posted .Game is a lot of fun for adults as well as kids. Lot of imagination in the game. Only bad is it can take a long time to load and/or get stuck. Good thing with PS4 is it's easy to close the game and reopen. Lot of fun with multiple players, but can get a little hard, confusing or frustrating when it choses who to follow on the screen which is not always the person advancing in the level. Overall game is awesome and so glad we go it.

Great game with friends and family
||Posted .Little Big Planet 3 delivers in the cooperative fun. With "next gen" games often lacking local co-op, LBP3 remains a beam of light for those looking to play with friends and family together on the couch. The mechanics are simple, but the adventuring is fun. All the different characters make the game more dynamic than previous iterations. maps are overall larger as well, making exploration and finding all those bubbles more of a challenge (but not a frustrating one)! This is a favorite game in my household, and it will likely stay that way since most games don't offer the option to play with others locally.

It's more of the same, which isn't a bad thing.
||Posted .Despite the new characters (who don't add much to the game besides the story levels they are used in) and the new "weapon wheel" as I like to call it, the game doesn't have much different from the previous installments. But this isn't a bad thing, there is still lots of content in all the LBP titles, and this one is no different. If you really liked the create mode in the previous games, you will love this one as it improves many of the things the others had wrong. If you enjoyed the previous titles, then this is for you. Especially if you're like me who got rid of their PS3 in favor of a PS4 and need that LBP fix. And if you have kids, this is a no brainer. Only complaints I would say so far is the wait times for connecting to levels online, but this has always been a problem with LBP and hopefully it improves over time.
