This is amazing. It's amazing that they released all these songs. Sin-e is where Jeff Buckley got his start and I'd give anything to have seen him play there back in the early 90's, so this is the closest I'll be able to get. What I like best about this is the fact that it's live, that these were moments that were recorded but taken from an actual setting, an actual day and night. No second takes. It is what it is and what it is is beautiful. Van Morrison is another love of mine, and on here he covers not one but TWO of his songs off of Astral Weeks, which is my favourite Van Morrison album. So basically Jeff Buckley has the key to my heart. He covers a number of amazing songs on this CD including Billie Holiday's "Strange Fruit," and Nina Simone's "Be My Husband" which Jeff has changed to "Be Your Husband" and it consists of only his voice and what sounds like a combination of clapping and stomping, definetly one of my favourite tracks and a perfect way to start a performance. I definetly could go on, and I will a little, the versions of some of the songs that are also on Grace are really good on this CD, especially if you like solo Jeff.

i never had the chance to see jeff buckley live, but this cd and dvd made me feel like i was there. it was live in a small space, captured the intimacy of his music. just makes me sad that i'll never actually have the chance to experience his performance live, but this is the best we can do now. glad someone captured this to pass down to future generations
