A few years ago I got seats to see Air Supply with my closest (non-romantic) friend. I planned on sitting through the show and applauding politely, and smiling appropriately as she gushed over all the admittedly pretty and romantic songs being sung. I got th firm impression since the show was close to Valentine's Day that both our significant others were not happy we were going to a show of Love Songs.....but neither he nor she wanted to go to the show! Well I was very off base, it was a GREAT show filled with undeniably infectious hit songs, expertly sung and played with a crack band. After the show I was able to complement several of the guys on sleek vocals, and in particular the drummer. Imagine keeping the beat UP in a very soft rock band. A challenge he accepted with oh so great results. This DVD captures so well the live experience of the pure joy of hit after hit remarkably rocking and rolling making you clap, sing and STOMP along regardless of the delicate nature of most of the set list. Buy, do not rent this video. You (& yours) will enjoy it for years!
