This concert was recorded during the early 90's during the Grunge explosion. The album Dio was supporting at the time was "Angry Machines". This was a heavy, gritty album with Tracy G on guitar that was very overlooked and underrated due to the musical landscape at the time. If you don't have that album, get it. You can tell Dio is having fun during this show and it carries over to the band. Awesome show, awesome setlist, and backstage extras.

released some 21 years after the performance you always worry about the quality and the video production itself. But no worries here. This performance is actually well shot and audio is mixed pretty darn good. You'll either love or hate the Strange Highways material. If you're familiar with it...it is a welcome addition to have in your collection. Great live show by all band members. Great DVD to have!!

I was going to go see heaven and hell the year Ronnie died. And even though it was only my living room with a 5.1 audio system I could feel the energy. I have seen over 20 bands live and can say that this concert is great for viewing at home.RIP Ronnie.
