A: AnswerTHE ANSWER IS INCORRECT. If you use the menus to clear all of your call history, it does NOT clear missed calls. They still remain up there, unwanted. Please answer the question correctly. Is there a way to delete missed calls? If not, they will eventually fill up memory. Is there a limit to the number of missed calls that will be displayed? - A: AnswerNO! I cannot find such an option. This is a HUGE problem for my 87-yr-old mother. I wish I saw this comment before we bought it. I *specifically* bought this New "Lively FLIP" cell phone (formerly called Jitterbug) assuming one would be connected to the caller when the flip top was opened. But no--- she has to 1) first flip open the cover AND then 2) find the "OK" button AND then 3) press the "OK" button (a non-descript button buried in the third row). She has a hard time with this. They could have at least made the "OK" button larger and/or Green. WTH! As such, she's unable to answer calls. NOT GOOD - as I now have to leave work & drive to her house to make sure she is ok (she had a bad fall last month). With her previous flip phone there was an immediate connection once the top was flipped open. The inability to EASILY answer a phone call is a major deal breaker for me. This phone is going back- such a huge waste of my time & money. This is NOT an "easy-to-use" cell phone for the elderly.

- A: AnswerI have it on the maximum volume and the sound quality is still very weak - I have good hearing and compared to my iphone, the sound quality is just horrible - considering that this phone is designed for seniors who generally have hearing difficulties, one would think more effort would have gone into the design of the phone to ensure superior sound quality.

- A: AnswerThe Lively has upgraded some specs and adds Alexa. But since it removed speed dial and Alexa integration is buggy and requires a multi step conversation to make a call, the original Jitterbug is a better option for those less technical or vision-impaired. After trying to make it work, I had to switch my mom back to the Jitterbug.

A great option all the way around
Bought this phone for my grandpa, and I absolutely love it! The phone has big button letters built for seniors who have a hard time seeing. A great volume/ringtone setting for seniors that are hard of hearing, and it is easy maneuvering apps throughout the phone as well. This is a really good option for seniors who are not really tech savvy, but need a way to communicate with their family or who live alone and need telephone access to outside agencies. Also lively customer service is really good as well. A great option all the way around

Jitterbug flip phone easy to use phone for seniors
My stepdad was struggling with smartphone I got him (his flip phone would no longer work with 4G) where he had to swipe. This Jitterbug is perfect. Answers the phone just by opening. Simple list with phone, contacts, voicemail (I created message for him) and date and time showing when closed. Nice charging station and Best Buy sent me a free car charger in the mail. There is also a great feature by pressing “0” to get a personal operator who can get you a Lyft ride. They ask where you are, where you are going and let you know if a driver is available and the estimated cost. You can accept or reject the ride. Call is $1 and charged to your bill with the cost of the ride. This will definitely be used for doctor appointments when we can’t give him or my mom a ride. He loves it! I recommend it!

Nice Phone with Big Easy Simple Buttons. The BAD part is the $19.99 Plan Ends up Being $40.00 a Month with all the Nebraska Taxes , Surcharges, etc.
