Perfect fit.
|Posted .It looks like it should have come with the iPad. Surpassed all my expectations. I love how it snaps on magnetically, how thin it is and that I can place it vertical or horizontal. I have had it for several months and have never charged it yet. In fact Im writing this review with it!

Very solid, great feel, Amazing battery life
Posted .I was looking for a great rotating case with a keyboard, but most case did not rotate, or the keyboard was flimsy at best, or both. I loved the feel of this keyboard, and the battery life is insane. I use it every day, and I've been using it for a couple months and have yet to charge it again. Crazy! I bought a rotating Targus case, and cut the side a bit to allow the magnet of the keyboard to latch on to the ipad, and it works great! Best keyboard case you can get (see pic). I know, i didn't cut it very straight, but since you never really see the side, it doesn't matter and the corners keeps the ipad very secure.

Best Keyboard for iPad
Posted .I have been looking at every single portable keyboard option for the new iPad. This is THE best option for the new iPad with bluetooth and great/ideal spacing for the keys. This makes it very easy to type for a long time with very few miskeys. Great buy, beautiful design with magnetic slot for iPad makes connecting perfect.

Great bluetooth keyboard for the iPad2
Posted .I bought the Apple keyboard for the original iPad. When I bought this keypad for my iPad2, I wondered if I was making the same mistake twice as the utility of the Apple keyboard and iPad was not good. Luckily, the answer is no. The iPad sits horizontally in a groove at the top of the keyboard. You need to turn on bluetooth in the iPad settings and then push the switch on the keypad and then you're ready to go. I've used it on my lap which is a bit of a problem as the iPad2 tends to tip the whole apparatus unless you've got your fingers on the keypad, but on a table, it like having a regular keyboard/computer. The action on the keys feels fine and I don't make any more mistake on it than on a regular keyboard. I actually saved the box the keyboard came in and place my iPad upside down on the keyboard and shove the whole thing back in the box when traveling.

One of the best keyboards, but not flawless
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI've tried a few different keyboard and/or cases for the iPad and this is the one I like the best for most situations. The keys are full size and have a decent amount of travel as they're pressed. They also register the keystroke just fine regardless of where your finger is on the key. I can type very smoothly, even at fast speeds. I think it also wins out over the competition in the style department. The powdered aluminum back is a perfect complement to the iPad's metal and when the two are closed together they look like a match made in heaven. When the iPad is stood up sideways it's very much like most of the other keyboard case offerings. The angle is fine and it's stable. Where it wins is that you don't HAVE to have it that way. Not all iPad apps have a landscape view, so sometimes you want to be able to stand the iPad on its end rather than side. The other keyboard cases I've seen don't give you that option. There are also times when you want just the iPad and don't need the keyboard. In those cases you just take the iPad off -- so much more convenient than the ones where the iPad is fastened in by sliding or some other mechanism. The freedom is very handy! This does bring us to the one inconvenience. The magnet that holds the iPad to the keyboard when "closed" is just a little weaker than I would have liked. For most situations such as carrying the iPad around in your hand there is no issue. You quickly learn the best way to do so. But if you were to slide them into a packpack or some such, they won't stay together. For those rare occasions I still keep my previous keyboard/case combo and switch the iPad over to it. The is the only thing that caused me to mark the device down a star. One other note: If you do stand the iPad up in portrait orientation, it's going to be a little unstable. You won't have an issue if it's on a stable surface like a table, but don't try to use it that way when it's in your lap.

Great keyboard and cover but heavy
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI really hate to type on the iPad so I was looking for a suitable keyboard when I found the Logitech keyboard cover. I had seen the keyboard and cover combos that made it look like a portfolio or laptop case, but I liked how easily the Logitech connected using the magnet and when closed resembled the aluminum body of the iPad. The keyboard connects with the iPad via Bluetooth as soon as you pull it apart and wakes the iPad from sleep mode. The rechargeable battery lasts for months depending on your usage. The keyboard is a full qwerty layout with arrow keys, home button, and special keys like cut/paste and volume control. The iPad can mount to the keyboard in both landscape and portrait modes, and like other Bluetooth keyboards, the iPad keyboard does not appear when the keyboard is connected so you can use the entire screen when typing. You will need to still touch the screen for navigation and I found the mounting very secure and stable. I was surprised by how heavy the iPad became when combined with the keyboard. Separately, they feel so light. I was also surprised that there was no cover for the keyboard when not in use. I typically stick it back in the cardboard packaging if I am not using it for some reason.

Integrates beautifully with iPad
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI read several reviews of this product before purchasing and was originally concerned about the strength of the magnet that attaches to the edge of the iPad and the slot for using as a stand. On the magnet: Other reviewers suggested Logitech had improved it and it appears they were correct. It attaches easily and stays fairly secure although it sometmes feels like it could be just a bit stronger and it would attach even more easily and remain attached even more securely. Still it's not bad as it is. On the stand slot: Some reviewers said that it was coming loose after some use. I haven't encountered that problem and I've been using it with my iPad for a few weeks now. It appears Logitech has improved that as well. A small item I noticed was that there was a bit of magnetic pull in the upper part of the back of the device. It attracted to the metal in my stylus. Just a heads-up to people to make sure you don't put any thing that doesn't play well with magnets (i.e. credit cards, etc.) near the hinge or this spot. The hinge is obvious but this spot may not be so obvious a place to avoid. In short this is an excellent product that serves the functions of keyboard, case and stand.

Feels like I bought another iPad
Posted .This case looks really good with the white iPad. This is the main reason I upgraded from my first generation Logitech iPad case. My iPad feels like new with this slim, well-styled case. A few positives over the first generation Logitech case: 1. This case has excellently spaced keys. 2. The case is considerably lighter than the previous generation. 3. The design is slimmer, more ergonomic, and smoother. 4. It's much quicker to get the iPad out and into the keyboard for typing. 5. New word select buttons are added that can come in quite handy. A few negatives over the previous generation Logitech case: 1. The keyboard is a little bit louder than the previous generation. 2. The iPad isn't protected at all from drops. 3. Because it's so lightweight, it feels cheap. 4. You have to press the fn key and then a specialty key to access the iPad specific buttons. This is especially annoying when you want to shut of your screen quickly. The reach is too far to accomplish this with one hand and it was just a single key press on the older model. 5. The skip track keys for music aren't included anymore. 6. It's a lot of money for what it is.
