Q: QuestionI have a 3rd Gen 12.9 iPad Pro and want to try a keyboard folio with a trackpad as an alternative to the Apple Magic keyboard case. Any chance this Logitech model will work? Or does anyone have any other alternatives?
Asked by Anne.
- A:Answer Anne, I don’t know why the person that answered your question previously told you that the case does not work for the 3rd Gen iPad Pro 12.9”. The short of it is that the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Gen iPad Pro all have the same form factor and smart connectors. I bought this case for my 3rd Gen iPad Pro and it works just fine. As soon as I put my iPad in the case, the Logitech message telling me to download an app. I did that and everything else just worked. There are no gaps and the case fits snugly around my iPad, despite the newest iPad being .5mm thicker. I added photos to this so you can see that I do have a third Gen iPad Pro. I also took a picture moving the cursor so you can see it on my screen and the typing test. This is a great keyboard and if you are in the market, I’d recommend it. Logitech May have intended for this to work with just the 5th Gen iPad Pro, but it does work retroactively with the 3rd and 4th Gen versions. I hope this helps you and provides an actual answer to your question. Good luck!

Q: QuestionWhat is the difference between the Combo Touch keyboard 12.9 model #920-010096 in the Apple Store versus the 12.9 Combo Touch model #920-010097 here & on the Logitech website? Also packaged differently, but both claim to be 5th gen. product?
Asked by Snagtooth.
- A:Answer They are the same product, but the Apple store has a different part number due to the fact that it is a lighter gray than the ones sold at Best Buy or on our website. Our products at the Apple store will also have different packaging so that we are aware that it is for the Apple store.

Q: QuestionIt has been reported that the cutouts aren't accurate around the Speakers - a few holes are blocked. Has Logitech corrected this issue?
Asked by Daisy.
- A:Answer Hi Daisy, The cutouts for the four stereo speakers are plenty large enough and won't hinder the sound in any way. You'll be glad to know that the cutout for the USB-C port is also plenty large enough should you want to use a third party cable.

Q: QuestionIs it good for work on a lap when sitting in a chair - stable and convenient to use? Is it stable with the keyboard removed, resting on your lap on the kickstand? Does the kickstand support the weight of the iPad when maybe 30 degrees from horizontal?
Asked by Applephile.
- A:Answer I like the Logitec I pad Pro casing with keyboard and made it convenient to use as a laptop on a stable flat surface like a desk or table. However, the key board is not easy to use while sitting on the chair as it is only attached to the case with magnets. The keyboard would get detached on my lap. The casing by itself is nice as it protects the i-pad from scratches. The kick stand supports the weight of the I-pad Pro very well and I enjoy using it on my lap, long car drives and on air planes.

Q: QuestionMy case has some stretching above the speaker cutouts. Any idea how to fix it? Or am I screwed?
Asked by Thisle.
- A:Answer Unfortunately I think that’s just the design. The material is a lot thinner there so it’s definitely easier to stretch.
