SUMMARY: This Logitech G603 is a great wireless mouse for the gamer looking for something that is both comfortable and minimally styled at a price that doesn’t break the bank. PROS: - DPI button is super handy - Mouse is comfortable to use - Lightspeed works great with no stutter or lag - Long battery life CONS: - Computer switching button is on the bottom - Not rechargeable, uses standard AA. - Can’t use Logitech software if mouse connected via Bluetooth For long gamers relied on corded mice for low latency and a dependent connection. With the G603 I’m happy to say that I’ve finally dropped my corded mice for good. The mouse features “Lightspeed” protocol which allows for a crazy 1ms response time. To achieve this Logitech bundles a special cable and wireless adapter that you will leave on your desk next to the mouse pad. Logitech suggests that you keep the mouse within 20cm of the adapter, which means for me that I still have a cable strung across my desk to keep it in range. On the button of the mouse, you have the option to switch between lower and super fast latency rates so you can preserve battery life when you aren’t gaming. If you want to use Bluetooth, that is built in as well. But you won’t be able to use Logitech’s Gaming Software to modify the configuration. They have a button on the mouse that will let you quickly switch between the Lightspeed connection and Bluetooth on another computer. The button is located on the bottom so it’s not the most accessible – Logitech probably does this to avoid any accidental clicks during intense game play. Just something to be aware of if your getting this mouse with the intention of fluid multitasking across multiple computers. The mouse is designed for people who are right-handed and has two buttons where your thumb rests. I found the placement with my medium sized hands to be the right amount of accessible without getting any accidental clicks in there. The mouse itself is minimally styled – you won’t find any crazy RGB lights here which leads to some great battery life – but the styling is still tasteful and ergonomic enough for extended use. The entire top shell of the mouse is magnetically coupled and hides the battery compartment. You can run the mouse on a single battery, which is awesome and convenient. I wish it was rechargeable, but that would bump the price up so it’s a small trade-off to make. The software is great, despite the lack of configuration options when in Bluetooth mode. You can assign buttons to custom hotkeys and system functions as well as track usage during gameplay – all great stuff. You can also create profiles on a per game basis, great for saving time. The software does get bulky if you have other Logitech non-gaming hardware because you’ll also need your Logitech Options software – it would be nice to have a Universal application for everything. In game play I didn’t have any issues with lag, stutter, or missed clicks with the mouse. It’s overall well balanced in click force required and button placement. I tested with on a Logitech G branded mousepad, but it tested well straight on the desk as well. Overall, it’s a great mouse at a great price. It doesn’t have a lot of the crazy frills but it gets the job done as a solid and great performing wireless mouse with some nice little features tucked in.

The G603 is great and accurate. It's nice to be able to switch between HI and LO modes. Don't use it for gaming so always have in LO mode and haven't had a problem. Love the fact that the top cover on the mouse can open to change batteries and includes a slot to store the USB receiver. Seems the top cover has magnets so it's very easy to open and clean. You can also run it with a single battery on either side for those that prefer lighter mouse. Had a G302 before that would constantly need cleaning as any dust/lint particle would affect it, no issues with the G603 so far.

Logitech - good job. Leading the gaming culture in innovative new ways. I have had no problems with this mouse. Long battery life, good software, accurate response time, Bluetooth and the dongle work perfectly, it’s comfortable, easy to use and change dpi settings, and very attractively priced. If you’re hesitant and looking for a simple gaming mouse, pick this up. You can’t go wrong.

Customers recognize the G603 Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse's excellent battery life and Bluetooth connectivity as significant advantages. Many appreciate its comfortable design and customizable features, including programmable buttons and adjustable DPI. However, some users experienced issues with the scroll wheel's responsiveness and found the design not perfectly ergonomic for all hand sizes. While lag was rarely reported, it's a factor to consider.
