Customers consistently note the high-quality mechanical keyboard feel, praising the tactile keys and ease of use for both gaming and everyday tasks. The convenient features, such as the USB port and volume roller, also receive positive feedback, along with the intuitive software. Overall, the product is viewed favorably for its functionality and user-friendly design.
I love the tactile feels of the old IBM keyboard that I've been using, but I was getting tired of it and was looking for something newer and nicer. This one was on sale, so I bought it. I thought it was going to have a loud click to the keys because it was a mechanical keyboard, but it doesn't. The keys do make a sound when I'm typing but they are a lot faster and sensitive than the IBM, which means I can type a lot faster than before. Since I'm not a gamer I programmed the left keys for keyboard keys instead of macros: esc-key top left, windows-key lower left. There's a key that has the icon for what looks to me is the state of Texas that disables the window-key, which is meant for gamers who might accidentally hit the key, pulling them out of their game. I like the volume adjuster, which you roll to the level you want; no ctrl key + another to change it. There is a wrist flap but I didn't attach because I use it on the slate that slides under my desk. Lastly, I like the illuminated keys which are great when I'm working in my office at night and only use my desk lamp. There is a USB port on the back side of the keyboard meant for a gaming mouse (apparently, theirs are always hard wired), but I use it for flash drives or to charge my headsets. I like it so much when I have to write text, I want to put it in my suitcase when I'm traveling but that's just not practical.

My first mechanical keyboard after a long string of membrane models. The Cherry MX browns feel great and noise is not a problem with the O rings in the caps. I love typing on this that it's so hard to go back. Highly recommend this when on sale as retail price is steep. It's been a few months and it's been working fine for me. I'm aware of the issues and problems with this keyboard but I've had a positive experience with Logitech customer support with a defective mouse. The 3 year warranty is a plus. The only minor annoyance is I keep hitting the G1 key when I try to hit the ESC key. Sometimes I'll under-compensate and hit the F1 key instead.

Works very well. Backlighting is great, not too gaudy. The switches are plenty sensitive and haven't had any ghosting. Feels very solid and very well made.
