Wonderful full keyboard that just keeps working.

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Love this keyboard. So much, I have two, mostly because one of the keys is broken on the first one and I can't get a replacement, but that's beside the point! It's thin, good tactile feel and nice curved key caps keep my horrible typing style in check.

Excellent keyboard
|Posted .Excellent keyboard and easy to set up. Just open box and plug in wireless chip. Kept going back to this one and wanting it but thought it was sort of expensive. After finally buying it, glad I paid few extra bucks.

Good free standing keyboard
|Posted .This is my second one of these keyboards and I love it because as long as it has some light it always keeps its charge. I have never known it to run out of power yet.

good keyboard for macintosh
|Posted .Pros mentioned:Battery, Keys, Solar featureI just purchased this keyboard after my old logitech (just like it) died. I had the old keyboard for about 8 years - That's an amazing life span for a key board. Since this is exactly like my old one, I am expecting as good a service from this one one. I don't need bells and whistles so the basic extended keyboard is great. I hate the feel of the silver metal keyboards put out by Apple. This one is great in that you have comfortable plastic keys and a look that matches Apple. It functions with never having to worry about cords or batteries (it is solar charged). I plugged the new one into my iMac and didn't miss a minute as it paired immediately. Hoping Logitech never does away with this model as I love my keyboard!

Love this keyboard
|Posted .This is the best keyboard out there if your looking for a wireless keyboard. I have been using this keyboard for over 2 years without any issues at work. I love it so much I got a second one for home use. The fact that it never needs batteries is a plus.

Q: QuestionPC?I prefer white keyboards because the letters are easier to see than on a black keyboard at least for me. I know they make a similar keyboard for PC's in black but I seem to remember reading somewhere that someone tried this Mac keyboard and other Mac keyboards on PC's and they work. Has anyone tried this one on a PC? Thanks.
Asked by nythawk.
- A:Answer It will work definitely. I have both the tethered Apple keyboard and mouse and they both work. You just have to get used to some of the keys because they are not marked like a Window Keyboard. I hope this helps...

Q: QuestionDoes your Logitech wireless solar charged keyboard light the caps lock key?I bought one of these keyboard about two years ago, and the caps lock key does not light up when it is in the caps lock (depressed) position, so it is always a guess whether it is on or off. Also, mine is starting to fail to type, unless I restart it before using it. Does anybody have similar problems, or solutions? Thank you.
Asked by Annie Oakley.
- A:Answer It doesn't have a lighted caps lock indicator, but if you use Logitech's SetPoint software (free download from Logitech.com) Caps Lock On or Off is displayed on your monitor for a couple of seconds whenever you press the Caps Lock key.

Q: QuestionWill this work with MacBook Pro 2017 with USB C ports only? I see this keyboard is recommended by Apple for Mac Book Pro with USB C, but I am unsure. Please help.
Asked by Mak.
- A:Answer This keyboard only comes with a USB Unifying (connector). I would think that you will need to purchase an adapter or a usb hub so that you can plug it into your MAC. I have a 2015 MAC Book Pro that I am now using with a full size keyboard & monitor. I have the Unifying plugged into a multi port hub and the keyboard works almost perfectly. I found that I need to move the hub slightly closer to the keyboard. I added a couple of examples of the adapters that Best Buy carries. Hope this helps.

Q: QuestionDoes anyone know why the difference in colored F-keys? I'd like to get a backup. However, I have seen yellow function keys and blue keys. Here they're yellow. At Amazon and Logitech they're blue. I'd like to know the reason before I buy. Thanks!
Asked by Trixy.
- A:Answer As far as I can tell the difference is that Logitech changed their logo and also the color of the function keys. I purchased at Best Buy recently (past 3 weeks) and got the new logo and blue function keys. It seems that the picture is of the model with the older logo, but the model number is identical.

Q: Questionkey and lamps on top right of keyboard explain?
Asked by Breezy.
- A:Answer The lamps let you know if you have a natural light source present. The happy face = Yes, there's natural light. The sad face = No, you don't have a natural light source.

Q: QuestionMy office does not have windows, but plenty of fluorescent light. Will the fluorescent light charge it?
Asked by Andrew.
- A:Answer Yes, any light seems sufficient. I have four of them and have never had a dead battery. You could turn it off at night or weekends if its an issue. The solar panels charge it rapidly.

Q: QuestionUSB OnlyDoes best Buy sell the USB adaptor for this keyboard? I own the keyboard and the USB adaptor broke and has been misplaced...
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer A good option would be to get the best mouse on the market in my opinion, the Logitech - Anywhere Mouse. They will share the same USB dongle, and then you will only need to use one USB port. Just an option. Good luck.

Q: QuestionkEYBOARD WON'T TYPE UNLESS i TURN IT OFF THEN BACK ON. ONLY LASTS FOR A FEW LINES AND I HAVE TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN. WHAT IS WRONG?I HAVE ENOUGH LIGHT SO THAT IS NOT THE PROBLEM; HOWEVER I HAVE TO TURN KEYBOARD OFF AND BACK ON TO GET IT TO TYPE. if
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer This means you are getting only a little charge from the battery. Mine did the same thing. It's not necessarily the battery going bad. Others have said the recharging mechanism itself may be an issue as it gets older. My solution is to set it in front of one of those new 100w energy efficient bulbs. Let it sit there for about an hour and it'll be okay for the rest of the day. Then set it there overnight to try and fully recharge it. Download the free Solar App from Logitech. It'll show you if you do have enough light or not. I was surprised when it showed me my room didn't have enough light after all this time. It will also show you how much charge is in the battery.
