Logitech and Zagg are the leaders for iOS bluetooth keyboards. I've owned several Zagg BT keyboards and ALL of them (more than 4!) have an issue where the keys occasionally repeat themselves 2 or even 3 times causing words like "error" to result in "errror," I am happy to report that I have NEVER had a problem with repeating keys on ANY of the Logitech BT keyboards which include the Ultrathin Keyboard Cover, FabricSkin Keyboard Folio, and Ultrathin Keyboard Folio (I own them all for both the iPad Air and iPad Mini). So here's what I like about the Logitech Keys To Go: + It's the slimmest and lightest bluetooth keyboard available today; It weighs almost half of the weight of Logitech's Ultrathin Keyboard Cover! + The dimensions are tailor made for an iPad Air (It's exactly the same width in landscape mode). + iOS specific buttons for volume, Home screen, camera, etc. + Water/splash resistant design + The keys are COMPLETELY silent which is great for a classroom environment Here's what I don't like: - WAY overpriced at $80! Check the weekly ads because it occasionally goes on sale for $60. - The keys lack the tactile feedback of a traditional keyboard, but it only took me about a minute to acclimate. - The power switch on the side is tiny and difficult to slide; I always have to use the tip of my fingernail to move it. - The texture of the case is rubbery and attracts dust and other particles. Fortunately, the keyboard is easy to clean so it's no big deal. Here's why why I bought it: My old case for the iPad Air was the Logitech Hinge case which is great but a tad heavy. My new case is the excellent ZeroChroma Slide (also available at Best Buy) and the combined weight of this and the Keys To Go is LESS than iPad Air and Logitech Hinge cover!!! I've attached a pic of this combination which weighs less than 1 lbs 12 ounces. Weight and portability are huge factors for me which is why this is my current favorite bluetooth keyboard. The great think about the Keys To Go is that it's compatible with any case that you currently use and it's slim enough to carry without even noticing the extra weight. The Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover is also a great product but it nearly doubles the weight of the iPad Air and it leaves your iPad without a case. Even though the price is a little higher than I like, I have zero regrets purchasing it. I wrote this review using the Keys To Go and I NEVER found myself yearing for the more tactile experience of a traditional keyboard. Your mileage may vary, but the adjustment period to the ultrathin design was seamless. Check it out for yourself!

I have had nearly every portable keyboard on the market for the past decade. From the original foldable keyboards to various 3rd party keyboards on off-branded shopping sites. But this all changed when Logitech started making portable bluetooth keyboards. Not just keyboards, but keyboards that are amazing! I’ve had several over the years that have been great. The 920 tablet keyboard with the cover/stand was great for both my iPad and iPhone. The Ultrathin Keyboard Cover was great and now is my backup when I need a 2nd keyboard to travel with for my iPad. Then there’s my favourite for my office: the Logitech Easy-Switch K811 keyboard and now the uber-awesome - Keys-To-Go Portable Keyboard. As an international photographer, filmmaker and educator, it is increasingly more & more important to travel lighter and with gear that is durable. The Logitech Keys-To-Go Portable Keyboard meets all of that criteria. It’s totally small & thin, fitting in my backpack, camera bag or messenger bag for all my various photography or teaching jobs. It connects quickly and flawlessly with my iPhone 6 Plus, and it has a terrific battery life. If you’re looking for a great travel keyboard, I would highly recommend this keyboard. You won’t regret it! David Esquire Caffeinated Photographer
