Customers frequently mention the Bluetooth connectivity, long battery life, and ease of use as significant advantages of the M590 Bluetooth Optical Mouse. Many appreciate the quiet operation, although some users noted the click sound is different than expected. A few customers found the price to be a drawback. Overall, the mouse is praised for its seamless integration and convenient features.
I purchased the M590 Silent Bluetooth Mouse along with the K380 Multi-Device Bluetooth Keyboard, and I have to say they make a great combination for my setup. M590 Pros: + Nearly perfect overall size for my small hand + "Flow" between two devices works flawlessly, including copy/paste of text and files! + Can link K380 Keyboard to follow the M590 through Flow + Silent Clicks are eerily quiet and very impressive + AA Battery will last a very long time + Don't have to plug it in to charge or connect + Physical On/Off Switch is always good to have + USB Dongle stores inside Mouse base + Decent Build Quality + Decent Price ($29 at time of purchase in 2019 Q2) + Logitech Options software is very useful and easy to use + Great value and feature set for the price M590 Cons: - The right side of the Mouse should be contoured to receive the fourth finger - The left side could be a bit more aggressively contoured with a bigger thumb rest like the M720 - Body material should be more rubbery / grippy - the mouse always wants to slip when I pick it up - Wish it controlled 3 Devices instead of just 2 - Wish it was more Black instead of Gray Overall Impressions and other thoughts: The M590 is the Goldilocks of the Logitech mice for me, offering Multi-Device Bluetooth connectivity and enough customizable buttons (5), while being just the right size and price. In comparison, the M720 Triathlon felt a bit too big in my hand, while the MX Master 2S is way too big for me. I have used the M705 Marathon Mouse for many years and it has been by far my favorite Mouse of all time. But I now needed a Multi-Device Mouse and this M590 is just a bit smaller than the M705 Marathon, so the M590 is just about the perfect size. If they contoured the right side of the M590 and made the material more grippy and added support for a third BT device, it would be perfect in my opinion. The quiet clicks are an added bonus. The M590 Mouse paired easily with all Bluetooth Devices I attempted to connect it to, and it has functioned exactly as expected without fail. I would have bought the MX Anywhere 2S, but I use the middle scroll wheel button constantly to Orbit in Revit, and since the MX Anywhere 2S moved the middle button away from the scroll wheel, it makes the MX Anywhere 2S useless for me, which is a shame since it pairs with 3 devices and felt a bit better in my hand than the M590. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase of both the Logitech M590 and K380, as I think they work very nicely together and are both ultra-portable for on the go readiness. I would highly recommend this product.

I bought this mouse mainly because it was Bluetooth, and with most laptops these days only having just 1 USB-3 socket, I didn't want to tie that up with the mouse. The Bluetooth works great. The other important feature for me was that you can use the same mouse on 2 laptops and copy and paste between both of them. This was easy to set up and it also works great. I also like that the clicking is practically silent. While I haven't changed the function of some of the other buttons yet, it is nice that you can customize them to control different things.
