This Logitech 920-005985 case for iPad Air doubles as a dual-view stand, allowing an upright angle that exposes the Bluetooth keyboard and enables comfortable typing and a flat-laying option that makes it easy to view media or browse the Web.
A: I have the rugged folio case and it took about 3 hours to charge initially. The literature says normal charge time is 2-4 hours. There are indicators for the remaining battery life. You can push the battery button and it will either flash green, yellow, or red depending on the remaining battery life. I have been using mine regularly for approximately 2 months and the battery indicator is green. The literature says you can use the keyboard for up to two years on a charge. That is long time but based on my use I think it will last several months at least.
Q: Does this keyboard/case fit the ipad air 2 or just the original ipad air?
A: It is for the iPad 1 and does not fit the iPad air 2!
Q: Does the keyboard have an on/off button?
A: Yes it does. It also has a sleep function if you happen to stop using it and forget to shut it off.
Q: Has anyone had theirs replaced by Logitech? Mine broke in less than 90 days!
A: My first one broke out at the corners and I didn't take out the warranty with Best Buy so I called the company and they replaced it, but it took awhile. I have bought four of them now and all had the same problem, but I now take out the warranty. I love the product, but not the problem with corners breaking out.
Q: Is this for a apple iPad Air 2
A: It is for the iPad Air, not 2.
Q: Is there a blacklight or any light in the case to light up the keyboard?
A: No, case provides no lighting which probably helps with long battery life for the keyboard.
Q: How to get folio repaired when broke after 2 months?
A: Call Logitech, provide a receipt, and they will replace the case. It has a two year warranty. Request that the case be replaced with a different model than the broken one. They will likely ask for pictures of the damage as well as serial numbers.
