This window mount is $40, which may not seem expensive. But really, what you are mainly paying for is a piece of round plastic with adhesive tape on it. It also includes a charging cable and power transformer, but it's really annoying that it pretty much duplicates the cable and plug that come with the original camera. The difference is that the original Circle 2 camera cord includes a swivel stand. It would have made more sense to just make the stand detachable so you would only need the plastic mounting ring. This Logitech solution is so wasteful in both excess material and consumer expense. in addition, the stick-on window ring is not adjustable at all. You cannot use it if the scene you want to capture is at any kind of an angle to your window. It is only good for a straight-on view. The product says not to put the camera in direct sunlight. I have to do that, and what i've found is that, even with the window mount, the camera reflects itself back onto the camera lens. So the image has 2 large ghost-like rings. But if you have a north-facing window and the scene is right in front of the window, then this window mount might work for you. The kit only comes with one extra set of adhestive tape.

I tried Ring, Nest, and Circle cameras for my front door/window area. Circle was by far the best, and I was SO HAPPY to see the window mount! Made installation of the camera to the window super easy. There wasn't even an 'installation' - just pop the camera in, stick it on the window, and you're done! :) Easy peasy. Just a note though - at first I thought the window cover didn't work with the Circle 2 I bought. Turns out I had to take off an extra piece on the camera first. So if you think it doesn't fit on your Circle 2, it probably does, you're just going to have to pop off the original white cover first. Then the window case will click right into place!

I bought this window mount so I can see outdoor at night. Happy to report it works !!! Couldn't find any info from the OEM about why it does what it does. Maybe they think mounting the camera outside is better ? Think I read something on a blog post about reduced glare & reflections and that's why I purchased it. Please see a photo from the box it came in, to read the most important feature for improved night vision.
