A disturbing and weird Kubrick movie but it’s genius!

I finished the novel version of Lolita for a class before introduced to this movie, and let me tell you, beside for a few omissions, this picture follows the book...I'm sure Kubrick wanted nothing less. Although I have never seen the movie before this class, I loved it. Everything about it was great. Kubrick brought the characters we came to know and love to life throughout the span of this film and it helped pave the way for the Jeremy Irons remake in the early 90's...although I preferred that one more because increased technology gave the movie a greater capability to follow the book.

Great movie this is a good classic, about a older man falling in love with a teenage girl. They say there was over 7 hrs worth of material but they cut it down to four. This is really good It's one of those, so wrong yet so right type of things, the only thing I did not like was they did not have a scene kiss the actor was only 14 teen at the time but still thats what really sucked. it's base off a book I have not read yet
