Customers frequently mention the short battery life of the 6-Channel, 6-Camera Indoor/Outdoor Wire Free 1080p 1TB DVR Surveillance System.
First I would like to say that I switched to the Lorex camera system because a relative of mine have one installed in her home so I took back my night owl which had cords running down the wall into a plug which bothered me so to convert over to a wireless battery operated system was pretty good.... What I like about these cameras is that you can re-locate your cameras at anytime I don’t have to worry about plugging it in an outlet... I like the fact that you can view it from your phone as a mini camera systems and you can see the battery level for each one your cameras that you have installed so you know when to re-charge that battery and the batteries usually last approximately a week depending on your settings... I would have gave it five stars but the only downside to this camera system is that it lags a little bit when you want to view a certain camera you have to wait many seconds maybe even a minute or two before it comes into view... I’m still learning the system of how to go into playback mode as well as recordings but overall it’s a really good system, but pricey....

its convenient to have wireless but without sufficient range its pointless. i've found the connection to be intermittent. sometimes it records activity and sometimes it does not. its easy to use but try to locate it near a outlet so you can plug it in. constantly recharging the batteries is a chore because you'll eventually forget and when needed the camera might not have juice.

The motion sensor is intermittent. It cuts off during movement. Sometimes, it doesn’t even recognize movement. The batteries are ridiculous. They require charging within one to two weeks. I regret my purchase. That’s $636.00 that has been wasted.
