Promising first feature from a new voice in horror
I caught this film at a festival screening last year, and I've been waiting to add this DVD to my collection ever since. All true horror fans will check out this film for Kane Hodder and Doug Jones alone, and they won't be disappointed. But what really makes this movie work is the comedy and - gasp - even the romance. Like Slither or Evil Dead 2, this film combines great kills and great laughs (you'll find squirrels in some of the darnedest places). I look forward to following director Matt Jackson's career from here.
