This definitely extended the wireless connection into my garage producing a wireless signal connection of a 40-50 mbps from 5 to 10 mbps. But it also somehow stripped the wireless service area of the modem and acted like the main hub. The wireless speed by the modem downstairs went from 50-60mbps to 5-10 mbps, which I checked on multiple phones over multiple days. If I unplug the range extender the wireless service goes back to normal throughout the house and garage. All of my ethernet connected devices still operated the same. I bought this on sale for $65. I'm still returning it. Very disappointing.

I honestly had a lot of issues with this device. I could get it to work for short spells, but longterm it was not a great fit. Luckily I was supplied with a better device by my service provider!
