This is by far the best MacBook I've owned (before this was a 2019 MacBook Pro 16", and before that was a 2009 MacBook Pro 13"). Pros: + The battery life with the M1 Pro chip is fantastic + The added ports are a huge plus; I'm glad they're listening to what customers want! + The internal speakers are just as good as the 2019 model, maybe even better + They fixed the problematic keyboard from the previous year models Cons: - They took away the touch bar (which I actually liked), but the trade-off is worth it - I don't love the notch, but I use a third-party app to make the top bar black, and you don't even see it. Other thoughts: I thought 16GB of memory would be enough since it's "unified memory," but I wish I had gotten 32GB because I use a lot of apps at once and regularly max it out. Also, the 1TB SSD isn't worth the upgrade, in my opinion, unless you don't have an external drive or NAS to archive files on. I didn't realize the Apple silicon chips didn't support Boot Camp, which was the reason I wanted more space. Oh well! It's a fantastic laptop with so many Pros and only a few Cons. I definitely recommend it!

The MacBook Pro 16” M1 16G with 1T of memory was not my first choice. The super discount of $500 made it possible to switch from a 14”. The larger screen makes a difference. The processor speed and memory are very noticeable. The inter connectivity with IPhone and Apple Watch is a good feature: The MacBook will sense the Apple Watch and It will login by itself by opening the screen. It has Thunderbolt (3), HDMI, SD, Mini Headphone jack and MagSafe ports. Since there is no USB port, I purchased an adaptor. The MacBook 16 is heavier than the smaller models due to its larger battery capacity. (Rated to be 17 - 21 hours, which I have not tested). The iMovie App comes pre installed and is ready for family videos editing. Get the Magic Touch Pad it is worth it. To protect your investment I recommend the Geek Squad Tech support.

I originally bought the 16" MacBook Pro a month after it was released. However, I returned it as I thought it was too big. I wound up going with the new Lenovo Z16. After four months of having issues, I decided to go back to the MacBook, and I made the right decision. Open the lid, and it's super responsive. I haven't put it through a ton, but the MacBook Pro 16 can handle anything that I've thrown at it. Battery life is AMAZING! To date, I have used the MagSafe charger to fully charge the device (4) times. I almost exclusively use it on battery, and it holds its charge for days. The performance is rock solid! The M1 chip definitely does what I need it to do. I have multiple windows open simultaneously, and it never slows down. The body is reminiscent of the early 2000s 15-inch MacBook but I loved the 2000s MacBook, so I'm okay with the design. All in all, a great package if you are willing to shill out a couple of grand.

Customers regard the MacBook Pro 16" as a high-performance laptop with excellent battery life and a stunning screen. Many appreciate its ease of use and sleek design, along with the inclusion of useful ports and ample RAM. However, some find the weight to be a significant drawback, and the price point is considered high by some users. While opinions on the Touch Bar's absence are divided, most appreciate the improved cooling system resulting in less fan noise and heat.
