Great Collection
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendThis is a terrific compendium of the Mad Max films. I understand the complaint that only Fury Road is in 4K, and since it is inevitable that one day they’ll release the first three in that upgraded format, patient fans of the series might want to wait. For now, this is the best digital representation of these movies available and for $40, it’s an excellent deal.

You'd be "Mad" not to buy it
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendYour one stop shop for all things Mad Max! Get all three of the original Mad Max films on blu-ray in addition to the best film of the last decade - Mad Max Fury Road in both bluray (black and chrome edition) and in 4K. A great collection for the casual and hardcore Mad Max fan.

One Awesome Package!
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendI love the Mad Max films and this is the ultimate set if you want all the films! You also get plenty of special features as well, except for “Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome”. Still, I also liked that they included the Black and Chrome version of “Mad Max Fury Road”. There are only two reasons why this set doesn’t get a perfect score. First off, the only film to have a 4K copy is “Fury Road”. The second reason is that “Fury Road” is also the only film to get a digital code. I get why you wouldn’t do 4K releases for all the films because that would have driven the price up, but there should have at least been digital codes for all four films. Beyond that, though, if you’re a massive Mad Max fan but hadn’t pulled the trigger on getting the films before, then this set is most definitely for you.

MAXimum MADness in a comprehensive collection
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThe last time I saw The road Warrior was by accident at a drive-in theater where it was double billed with Clash of the titans. It was my first foray into the Mad Max world, and I loved it. Like most, I'd never even heard of the original movie simply titled Mad Max. Back then, if you missed a movie in the theater, it was at least a year before you'd see it again on cable or if you were rich, on VHS or Laser disc. A few years later, Beyond Thunder Dome came out and I didn't go see it at the movies, but man you could not escape the Tina Turner songs from the soundtrack being played in heavy rotation on the radio. A few years later, I caught Thunder Dome on Cinemax. It wasn't as good as Road Warrior, but I still enjoyed it as it was still set in the Apocalyptic world that few other movies were tackling. Well, here we are decades later and Fury Road is released re-igniting my and now many other new fans imaginations with the best entry yet. I now have disposable income, and have started collecting the movies I loved growing up. So, when I saw this collection I had to have it. It's a comprehensive collection of 8 discs of pure Max madness. Every movie is here, looking better than ever in high Def, and two of the discs are nothing but extras. You get Mad Max, Road Warrior, Thunder Dome, Fury Road (Standard BR, Black n Chrome ED).Plus, you are already future proofed with Fury Road being included in 4k. So, if you want them all in a nice package, you can't do better than this. Unless you wait till Mad Max: The Wastelands comes out in theaters, then Bluray. It was just announced. Can't wait to see what Max is up to now!

Definitely worth the purchase.
|Posted .Owned for 5 months when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendA great collection for any fan! I look forward to a future release of all the films remastered in 4K UHD. Mad Max:Fury Road is included twice. One copy on a Blu-ray disc, and one copy on a 4K UHD Blu-ray. The rest of the films are Blu-ray copies.

Best movie collection in awhile.
|Posted .Owned for 10 months when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendI grew up watching these movies. So I was hyped to be able to buy this collection on blu-ray. I do not watch many newer movies but certainly enjoyed Mad Max: Fury Road.

Fantastic Collection
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendI have been a fan of the Mad Max series for years and when I saw the last film in the movie theater I was floored in the best way possible. I waited anxiously for the movie to be released on bluray and when this box sex was available I jumped on it. I also got a wonderful extra in this set which is the last film presented in a high contrast crisp and detailed black and white (chrome) rendition. This version is truly mesmerizing and I advise everyone to see this version!
