Madden NFL 15 (football fun as usual)
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendMadden NFL 15 is very similar to the previous year's game(Madden 25). There are not many differences in gameplay between last year's game and this one. Last year was the first year to have the game mode: Madden Ultimate Team. This game mode is brought back this go around in Madden 15 and is still just as great as last year's, the biggest difference is that the newest class of rookies are available to acquire. I personally enjoy playing Ultimate Team Mode the most. It has challenges that vary from old school classic moments that you have to play out and it also includes your basic regular season matchups too. Basically this is a great Madden game that is the most realistic looking ever and has great gameplay and controls but if you own last year's game there's not much reason to go out and get this one unless you're a die hard football fanatic that wants to have access to the newest class of rookies, or if you just have to have the newest version. If you don't own a football game get this one. And if you're a college football fan that is disappointed that there is no NCAA game this year, then check out this Madden. It's obviously not college football but it's still a great game that can keep you occupied till a new college one comes out next year.

A step in the right direction
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThe graphics and stadium sound are the best they've ever been. Offense The running game has been improved slightly. The RB now has a mind of it's own as you run close to one of your own lineman, by making a cut or slight step to the side. However it's not very consistent and sometimes you just get stuck into your line. The FB doesn't not appear to be any smarter. It's still tough to pass at a loft higher than bullet, but lower than loft. This causes problems if your WR beat the CB, but a safety is about to come over and help. And then it also causes problems trying to throw over the ever-so-high-leaping LBs. Defense From a defensive control standpoint, I feel it's the best it's ever been. Once you get used to the control layout, it's relatively easy to change your defense pre-snap. During the play, the controls are easy to operate. The defensive line controls have been improved, and the tackling mechanics are much more life-like than previous. Overall, it's a fun game, but I feel the offensive side of things could definitely be improved. Also, it's time for a new broadcast booth and the new pregame and halftime shows are weak at best.

The best yet
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI used to be a big Madden fan back in the day on Sega Genesis, then I moved on to the Nfl 2K series until they lost the Nfl license after 2K5. For years after Madden has been up and down but could never match 2K5 and at times Madden seemed like they really weren't advancing the series at all but with Madden 15 and EA having a renewed outlook to the series, they have really stepped up and given us the football game we have been waiting for. This is the first Madden game that I can say really challenges and comes close to duplicating NFL 2K5. Is a fun, pretty accurate and much improved game that has very little flaws that I can find. This was a day one purchase after I played the Xbox One demo and I have no regrets. If your a Madden / Football fan, this is a must have. If your new to football or Madden, thisb is the time to start your Madden gaming. Doesn't really get better than this.

Best Madden in years!
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI've been a Madden gamer since the early 2000's, not too many sport games are as addictive. Last year's Madden didn't wow at all, I feel like it's because they had to get ready for next gen. It barely looked better on XBox One than XBox 360. But with a full year to develop Madden 15 on next gen, they got this one right. You can really tell in the details of things how great the game looks. The players faces look much more real than they ever have before, coaches and refs look better as well. The game plays better too, seems like they've really spent time on making the players movements more lifelike and free flowing unlike some of the robotic movements of the past. Connected franchise is always fun and so is the My Team mode where you build your team through trading cards. I only gave it a 4 out of 5 though because it still seems like it's missing something. Even though it's more lifelike than ever, it's not as fun as it once was. But there's no question, if you are a NFL fan, there's nothing like Madden. Probably because they have no competition out there, but still worth owning nonetheless.

Best Madden yet
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis Madden to me is the most it's improved from one year to the next ever. Great enhancements to the graphics and game presentation. The new defensive camera option is really amazing. It actually flips the camera angle so that the offense is coming at you like you're in first person. It's actually challenging to score points on offense and much more enjoyable to play defense. The result of that is games that are lower scoring and tighter which to me makes them more intense. No longer does the team that has the ball last win. There's even an option to set teams rankings to be more even before the game so any team can compete, not like in the past where if you had the weaker team you basically had no chance. For the first time in a really long time, I'm glad I bought the new Madden as compared to last year's version, it's much better and more enjoyable.

Solid Entry into the Pantheon of Madden Greatness
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis entry of Madden definitely impresses! I own the game on Xbox one and the moment you turn the game on and have to run through the opening tutorial you feel as if you have been immersed into a real live NFL game. The detailed faces are amazing, but it is in the minute details such as the voice and body movements that make this game come to life. The only grip for the game that I have is that I am in my 20s' and have been waiting for the past 10 years for Madden to adopt the experience point system that NFL fever had or the mid 2000s' FIFA series. For instance if a WR has a monster game I personally expect to earn enough points that if this is a consistent pattern by the end of the year he should progress to a 90 even if you start in the 80s. Regardless the game lived up to the next gen hype.

Madden finally took the next step
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis is the Madden game I've been waiting for. Defense is so much better and more fun to play, which surprised me, since EA almost never lives up to their promises. Also, at least in the early stages, people aren't able to successfully win games in online head to head by playing like five year olds. If you go for it every fourth down and onside kick every time, you will lose. The best parts are the tutorials. They teach fundamental football principles that you can use to your advantage to win games. Strategy wins with this version, not cheap tricks (at least not yet.) Oh, and in career mode, instead of the lame practice scenarios, you play fun and interesting drills. I love this game.

Improved graphics and play functionality
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendYes, it is true that all of the Madden games are pretty similar to the version from 1 yea prior. This version however, does have improved graphics and a little bit better play functions than prior versions. I definitely think that it is a mJor step up from Madden 25. My only complaint would be that I do like the ability to pick from prior teams and would love a version that would allow me to import old NFL teams but still have the excellent graphics and playability from the most current version. I think that this will be a particularly great by if you can get it after the prices come down which usually occurs about six months after it's released.
