My first guitar
|Posted .This is my first and probably only acoustic guitar. I wanted a brand that I could trust for quality (Gibson). This guitar came with a soft case, extra pics, DVD lessons, extra strings and an adjustment tool. I had been looking for sometime for either a used or reasonably priced new guitar on sale. I am satisfied with my decision but not certain that my selection would be best for someone who is not a novice.

Great guitar for beginners
|Posted .This is a great starter guitar for someone wanting to learn how to play. It was a great price for guitar which includes case, strap, learn to play disks and picks for playing. It is a quality guitar and I am happy that I purchased this one. I did look around at websites and Best Buy had the best price for a better than average quality guitar. I might look into getting Chord Buddy that was on "Shark Tank" and perhaps an electronic tuner to use with guitar.

Excellent package for a beginner
|Posted .For the less than $100 a beginner enthusiast can get started with little knowledge by following the CDs that are included. The protective case is excellent for those that want to be mobile with it. The sound, for the beginner, is really nice. For the parent with a child interested in guitar playing, this is a good way to do it without making a huge investment.

Not a terrible beginner guitar
Posted .This was what I first used to learn the guitar. It comes with CD/or DVD's that will help you learn. Understand, this is a beginner guitar not a $3000 guitar. Yet, it really isn't terrible. It is a good starter. My only compaint was the neck. It is kind of a monster, but it makes you a better player in the long run. Because of it, I can easily play bar chords and such on it. I play on it everyonce in a while even now owning a LP and Strat. I recommend it to anyone wanting to learn.

Great first guitar
|Posted .This was bought as a birthday gift for my wife, who always wanted to own and learn how to play a guitar. Wish granted via Best Buy. It came out of the box terribly out of tune, but after a few minutes it was sounding pretty good. (Still took it to a professional later and had it really tuned correctly). The DVD's were easy to follow and within a few days she was playing enough cords to string together a song or two. Happy wife = happy life!

Good starter Guitar
|Posted .Bought for My Daughter about 2 Month ago. She had some inital interest, but has since left it alone since school starting. I have had rudimentary music and Guitar exposure. I have a brother who has a lot of Guitar experience who was visiting and tried it out and when he was demonstrating how to loosen and position strings, High E string replacement broke (the original E high E String broke earlier when playing). He thought it played OK. He also thought it stayed in tune OK. We have been using a free app to help tune. Not sure she is actually going to settle down and commit to trying to learn it, but it wasn't that costly and had a lot of extras for the cost. If she does not use it, maybe I can try, or her 5 other younger siblings if they get the urge in the future :)

Perfect starter guitar
|Posted .Learning to play guitar was on my "bucket list". I would never have believed in a few short weeks I would make such progress! The included DVD's on Learn & Master the Guitar with Steve Krenz are great to learn by. At 55 I am learning to do something I have always wanted to do & can do so in my home! Love it!

Great Starter Guitar
|Posted .Great starter guitar for the money. Only thing it really needs to be great should come with light strings instead of medium strings. the medium strings are hard to tune and more difficult to learn to play on. spend $10 extra and get a set of light strings with it and you will be good to go!
