- A: AnswerSome new radios will automatically recognize the steering wheel controls. Check the radio manual for features. Otherwise the SW will work for your car. Just need to connect it to a computer and set it up for your vehicles before you connect it to radio - very easy. You can go to there website before you buy & double check your vehicle. They will also give you exact wiring set up. Hope that helps
