This game had a rough start on PC launch with 30FPS lock and game breaking crashed, freezes and mission not being able to advance forward. They did put out a patch to unlock the FPS and fix some minor things and they have stated that more fixes and free content to be released. The story is what's keeping me in the game, not as good as Mafia 2 in my opinion but great nonetheless. I have experienced 2 freezes and 3 crashes but as stated above they are working on fixes. If you don't mind some issues then jump on in and buy if not wait a month or so and check back on it.

I've preordered this game a week before the release date. When it came in my mail, I opened up the package of the game. I found out that there's no instruction manual that suppose to have a Steam code. Like the other reviewers, there's only 6 DVDs, a map and two slips of paper that keeps referring to an instructional manual that has the Steam code, but there's no instruction manual at all in the package! Beware if you do buy this, it's a bad batch for this one. Other retailers (GameStop and Amazon) have this problem as well. Now I've reached out to 1-888 BestBuy support. At this time, since many people like me have this problem, BestBuy pretty much told me that they don't have any keys yet until 2K Games Publisher authorizes it. 2K Games royally messed up big time with this one.

I open the case and no activation code. I can't even install the game without that code. I contact 2K support and they tell me that Best Buy needs to give me the code. How stupid is that!?!?! Apparently, a lot of the Deluxe PC Editions are missing the cd key. Heads up, don't buy the stupid game. Check amazon if you don't believe me. No more 2K games for me.
