    Before we begin

    When we arrive at your home, we'll perform a preinstallation walkthrough. Additional charges for any required add-ons will be quoted by the installer prior to any work being done.

    Connecting your devices

    We'll connect your soundbar to new or existing audio components (such as A/V receivers or CD players) in a single room. (Setup of these audio components is not included in this service.)

    Setting up your soundbar

    We'll mount and secure your soundbar to a standard frame wall and attach cables from the audio source, routing cable through a single stud bay in a standard frame wall. (Customer must provide in-wall-rated cables.)

    Professional look and functionality

    Wires and cables will be neatly dressed, and wire ties will be used when necessary. If a calibration mic was included with your soundbar, we'll use it to calibrate the audio output to your room acoustics.

    Handing over the keys

    We'll program 1 manufacturer-provided, non-learning remote, and we'll educate you on how to use your new technology.

    Cleaning up

    After the installation, we'll clean up the work area and remove any packaging your products came in.

    *This service does not include installation in or through a crawlspace, cutting of access holes, or custom mounting or wiring.

    Additional charges may be required for land travel beyond installation coverage areas. Service returns cannot be accepted after installation services are completed.

      It really comes down to how much time you have. I did not have the time to do all of the setup on my own and coordinate with a friend to help me with all of this and all of the handymen inreached our to we’re booked 3-4 weeks out. As a result, I had to go with geek squad to do this and they do a great job. However, the value of this just is not there.

      Had a sound bar installed along with my new TV. The Geek Squad guys were very nice and knowledgeable but for the extra money, it wasn't worth it. Especially if you have a level, a cordless drill, and some masking tape. To make matters worse, the soundbar is not level. I had to remount the soundbar to make it level. Even if it was level with their installation, not worth the money to me.

      As part of a half day of system installs (Harmony Hub, Sonos, TV, etc.) the Geek Squad member came to the house and took care of everything. The Soundbar and mount was recommended to us by an In-Home Advisor. The technician knew what they were doing and installed the soundbar in no time at all. Well worth the money to have the install done by a Pro. Great experience.

      Geek Squad installed our Bose Soundbar at the same time as they installed the flatscreen to the wall. Good job all the way around. Professional, quick, and friendly. No mess. They handled all configuration, which I don't mind doing but its nice to have them do it while they are here. Highly recommend.

      While my store salesman did not suggest a mounting kit, the installer said it would be better to have one, as it would keep the bar off of the mantel and hold it in place. As would happen, he had one on his truck and offered it with a discount. Enough said!!

      I could have easily done this myself, but they were there putting in the TV so why not? If you're just adding the sound bar, you could easily install it yourself provided the TV has the right outputs, but it sure makes it trouble-free when they do it.

      Did not show up the first 2 appt. we made sure we had someone here the full window each time. The 3rd appt was pushed out a week. I did receive a communication this time...of course I had rearranged my schedule to be home. Disappointing...

      I’m happy with it but some may not like the fact that the bar does not sit flush with the tv. It leans down but I feel it helps push the sound forward. The geek squad did inform that it wouldn’t sit flush just in case we were unaware.
