The swivel on this thing is perfect for those that don't feel like dealing with the traditional separate pan and vertical adjustments. It's very easy to use and if you have your level mounted it's easy to get it perfectly straight. I find it to be simpler in design and usage. I can pan and tilt with one hand while using the other to work the shutter on the camera, using the tripod as a way to keep the shake out of my shots. Glad I gave it a try even though it was different than what I had been used to. It's compact and light, so it's easy to lug around.

I almost returned this to the store because of the weight limitations of only 3.3. lbs but decided since it was very compact and wasn't very expensive I would keep it. It doesn't take very long to get used to the controls. So far its a great tripod that is well built. I did buy a back up quick release because based on my past experience these can get lost or misplaced easily. Why wait to buy a back up or if using multiple cameras its easier to keep on bottom of camera for the day.

I travel to so many places with this tripod, Horseshoe Bend Antelope Canyon, Dearh Valley and it was good in all of them, never failed me, it's so small and perfect to travel with! It also has 90 degrees super easy to use.
