Great for the price. Noticed today with a 6.6lb setup on a side 90 ball head, that the monopod bends pretty bad. Could possibly snap with a shock at the bend or even just the wrong movement. Love the twist locks instead of the pinch clamp for the sections. An option for spike tip would be nice.

The best. This product feels well-made as soon as you take it out of the box. The only thing that will pose a challenge is the telescoping screw thread, which is actually a clever design. The outside thread is 3/8”, and the inside is 1/4”. The 3/8” is spring-loaded and is built to hide beside the 1/4” when you’re using the 1/4”. Once you figure out that one screw thread rests inside the other, it’s easy to attach to your phone holder. I find that resting the other end of this on a solid surface helps with attaching something to it. It will take some practice. It’s something that you won’t be able to do while walking at the same time. The cinches for extending the arm are also well-made. This is rugged like a ski pole. If you’re using a gimbal, this product provides extra reach for taller and wider shots. It’s worth the money and gives you more versatility when filming or taking photos.
