I am shocked at how much I love this album. I stayed up until 2 a.m. because I couldn't stop listening. First, Mickey Thomas has one of the best voices in music--any genre. It's a cover album, but each song is a gift. His more acoustic rendition of Gimme Shelter is excellent. Moneytalks is a gritty, down and dirty surprise. And, his hip hop rendition of Life is a Highway blew me away! Mickey Thomas puts today's popular singers to shame. His voice is so powerful and perfect. His renditions of these great songs are fantastic. You have to listen to this album!
