Best game in Switch !!!
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Really great gaming experience. Smooth as butter, great music, fun sound effects, very immersive. We've come a long way from Kart 64. I haven't really played much video games since the N64 (skipped both the Wii and WiiU, so I kinda feel like an old man jumping back into the World of Nintendo). It's made me feel like a kid again, and with how much stress I've been under these last few years with my health... that's a pretty big deal to me. Thank you, Nintendo.

Mario does it again with #8
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Coming from the Nintendo Wii's Mario Kart 7, the game is graphically stunning, and there are a variety of new, exciting, and gorgeous tracks with plenty of shortcuts. There are some classic tracks as well as newer ones. There are many options to customize your vehicle (e.g., parachute, wheels). Vehicle customization affects the acceleration, weight, handling, traction, and speed of the vehicle. All of the characters come unlocked, but you can unlock vehicles, parachutes, and wheels by collecting coins throughout the game. Interestingly, there is 200cc, which speeds up the track, so breaking technique is involved. Gameplay: I immediately noticed that MK8D requires a lot of drifting, which is different from MK7 Wii, where drifting is optional. I found it to be more easy to get bumped off the track by heavier players. Unfortunately, some of the boost items (the golden mushroom and star) give you less speed than they used to. The benefit to the star in MK8D is its invincibility, which is a great advantage considering that players can hold up to two items. The green turtles are much more likely to hit you, are much faster, and can bounce off walls. Getting a coin in first place is often frustrating as it is not a defensive item; however, collecting coins increase your speed. Great game again from Nintendo.

Best Mario Kart to date
||Posted .First off let me say that I bought and played this game since day 1 it was released back on the Wii U so I have already put many hours into it before now. That being said even if you bought and played this on the Wii U it is well worth the price of picking up again on the switch. The battle mode is the biggest improvement over the Wii U version, but not the only one. Switch version runs at 1080p vs 720p on Wii U, it comes with all the paid DLC and of course the best feature... you can play it anywhere you want via handheld mode and it is absolutely gorgeous in handheld mode and on a TV. If you have never played.... buy it yesterday.... if you have it on Wii U... still buy it. As always I would recommend anyone buying video games to get the BestBuy Gamer club, it provides great year long discounts and since I have joined BestBuy is pretty much only place I get any physical games anymore. Great money saver.

Q: QuestionCan you play a Nintendo switch on an airplane? And also what is the difference between the physical and digital game? Which one do I order? HELP
Asked by Macy.
- A:Answer Yes, you can play this on an airplane but you can't do an online play obviously. The physical game is the version that comes in a physical SD card looking cartridge while digital is the version that you download from the Nintendo eStore, Digital game lives on the switch and is downloaded to the internal memory - I will suggest getting a high capacity micro SD card if you haven't already

Q: QuestionWhat is the difference in digital and physical in the Mario cart deluxe
Asked by Amanda.
- A:Answer The only difference is physical copies require you to insert a game card into the Switch, while digital copies require you to purchase and download the game through the Nintendo eStore. As for the game itself, it is exactly the same.

Q: QuestionDo you need the digital game to play this online with friends? Or can you play online with the physical game?
Asked by JoanJ.
- A:Answer You need a copy of the game, physical or digital will both work for this. (I am actively doing online with a physical copy.) Please note that you ALSO need a Switch Online membership, which costs 20$ per year for one person, or 34$ per year for 2-8 people. You can also buy the online in 1, 3, and 6 month increments but it's cheaper to buy it by the year. It's worth it for the membership as you get to race against others, and many games including Animal Crossing also have online abilities through the Switch Online membership. If you don't want online capabilities, you don't need the Switch Online membership, but to race others online at all you will need it.
