So much more
|Posted .Much more than just a tennis game. Yes you can just play tennis but there are also Quests & story line to challenge yourself. Play solo against the computer or with a friend.

Hilarious tennis matches with friends
|Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendI have played a few mario tennis games in the past and I enjoy the core mechanics of tennis. I'm not into the over the top mechanics with the special moves and everything. Playing through the campaign I found it frustrating at times defeating opponents and bosses. I just want to play regular tennis with mario characters. Thankfully you can set up the game with simple gameplay and it is a great time especially with friends. If everyone at least knows the basics, matches often result in intense hilarity. You could be having a good rally going and all of a sudden you hit the other player or miss a ball completely and it's really funny. The characters move goofy and gives it tons of charm. Its not meant to be taken seriously but it can get pretty competitive when it goes back and forth with deuces and advantages. I would highly recommend it.

Fun Game, Limited Replayability
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I held off on buying this game for a while, but picked it up on sale for Mario Day. It's definitely worth the play-through but after finishing the main story I didn't find much value in playing it further. Playing with my wife is fun for a little while but as far as multiplayer games go I prefer Mario Kart. Still, the mechanics are solid and follow the easy to learn, difficult to master mantra well and I definitely had some challenging rounds with the AI (but not so challenging it left me frustrated). I think this is a good one to pick up, but not one to hold onto longterm.

Great gameplay!
|Posted .Owned for 10 months when reviewed.Great gameplay, it's a fun game to play with friends and family the graphics are good. One of the best tennis games I've played in a long time. The story mode is good and the arcade gameplay is absolutely fun. The only problem is the online match making takes a long time due to Nintendo online service being not up to par.

Fun and Enraging!
|Posted .Owned for 4 months when reviewed.I play this with my friend every weekend and it gets competitive real quick with unique playstyles with each character and the changes in courts. The game is quite fun for all ages and is easy to learn but hard to master. If you're looking for a fun sports video game, look no further! This beats Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games and creates a fun and unique experience for friends and family to enjoy!

Q: QuestionWhen will the digital (and more importantly, cheaper) version of this game be available for purchase?
Asked by Frankbert.
- A:Answer I have never seen a digital version cheaper than a hard copy used. Best thing about a used hard copy, you can return it, give it away, sell it, or use for a target. Digital, if you don't like the game, it's yours forever.
