I bought this drone in April of 2020. If you want to get shots you otherwise can't get with a standard camera or hand held video cam, this drone will do it for you. The camera is a Hassleblad 4K camera that shoots in 30 FPS (Frames Per Second) and you can shoot your videos in DLOG mode which means you can color enhance your videos and pictures if you're in to that kind of stuff. The video footage is as smooth as it needs to be. Everything is adjustable on it. You can control the speed of your gimbal, for instance, to slow it down to keep you from having jerky videos and will have smooth transitions when you rotate your camera up or down. Very easy to fly. Hard to crash. Full motion sensors all around for obstacle avoidance. Drone is very quiet too. What sold me on this one is that it has a smart controller that doesn't need your phone to fly it. It's all self contained. All I have to do is turn on the drone and then the controller and off I go. You may, occasionally, have to calibrate the compass or do an IMU calibration but they are very easy to do. I LOVE the RTH (Return to Home) feature. You get done capturing your shots, just tap the RTH button and the drone comes back to you. This is the neat part. Say you are on a hiking trip and you want to have the drone follow you. Perhaps biking along a trail. The RTH feature is supposed to return where it started from, but, you are no longer there. That's about a mile or so away from you. Instead, you can have the drone return to the controller instead. Isn't that neat! The size and weight makes this drone VERY STABLE!!! It is also very compact because the prop legs fold up for transporting. It's the perfect compact solution for vacation videos on trips that you can't take without one of these.

It's a phenomenal flying machine. Tears through wind without a problem (even with high wind warnings). Stable. Connection between drone and remote controller unheard of. For those on the fence debating whether to get the smart controller or not, GET IT! So bright, i can wear my sunglasses and still get a good image; far better than using an IOS device. Really am enjoying this drone! Unfortunately, I can't post full resolution images, because the images are larger than the 5mb max. Trust me, they're great!

I would recommend for any person that had never flown a drone. It it so simple to use and fly. It takes next to no experience. It has so many safety features that you would have to try to loose or crash your drone for you to do so. So if your looking to take great pics without having to learn a whole lot this is the drone for you! I bought this because my friend Rob bought one and he flew it at my house. Then I was hooked. So I bought mine with the smart remote. I read too many reviews that said your phone drains the battery with the controller. So I opted for the package deal with the smart control. You won’t be disappointed. Now if your anything like I am. Then you will need to buy the fly more combo pack. To get the 2 extra battery packs and car charger. It’s worth the money. I’m telling you! Trust me! It will be the beat thing ever. This suckers does it all. You can also fly an night and be comfortable that it will come back to you. PSA Just make sure to check FAA rules and no fly zones before you fly. Don’t ruin it for the rest of us. Fly responsibly. Just saying....
