I am loving my new amazing microwave with oven broiler! This is such a high end quality multi function microwave worlds ahead of the Frigidaire Gallery series over-the-range microwave that was replaced. It has 3 speed powerful fan and is very quiet when running except with fan running highest setting. Enhancing the usual microwave function are multiple sensing functions in sub menus in control panel. So user friendly, the control panel walks you thru every stage of all the different cooking, defrosting, reheating, softening, melting, warming and many more functions! It’s so multi functional I’m blown away! On top of all the first class microwaving abilities, it ALSO has an actual broiler element exactly like in your standard oven! It broils, cooks, browns, toasts, and everything else you can do in your standard oven without having to use the full size oven saving lots of electricity and dollars on your electric bill to boot! This microwave also will cook in the standard microwave mode then automatically turn off the magnetron and start the broiler function also signaling when to turn food for browning if needed. Like I said, IT’S AMAZING! Treat yourself and your family to this new microwave/oven broiler design. It’s beautifully designed and really attractive in the kitchen. Oh, it also has a 10 year warranty on the magnetron and interior parts! There’s so much more, get it to see for yourself. Our whole family just loves this appliance!

I bought an open box one certified “excellent” only to find that the door is bent near the hinge and would be a health hazard if I hadn’t noticed it. I reached out one day past the return window (of 15-days) because we waited to install, and I’m dumped off on Maytag warranty people who failed to process a work order for a new door. It’s been days back and forth with the repair company, and a big headache. I might not be a member plus or whatever, but I have a credit card with Best Buy and this is unacceptable! I tested it by placing a phone inside and calling it… and wouldn’t you know, it rang! I tried that on the one being replaced, straight to voicemail. It’s nearly one month past purchase date and still haven’t gotten it fixed.

Seems adequate bases on 3 weeks of use since it was installed. Hope I will like the stainless steel interior. I missed that feature in the description. I would prefer that Maytag had not added a permanent tag on the lower left front which was not pictured, to promote a 10 year limited warranty. I just hope that it lasts that long. The Frigidaire this is replacing only lasted 5 years. It was fairly easy to install with the help of someone who had done this before. Would not have been able to install by myself. Seems to cook a little more evenly that previous MW ovens we have owned.
