Unique coming-of-age film
|Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.Me and Earl and the Dying Girl is not like any film I've seen before. It shares similarities with other Fox Searchlight comedies but remains unique.

A brilliant film that deserves to be better known
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendA brilliant film that deserves to be better known. One of the best films of the year that most definitely exceeds expectations and is much better than 99% of the mega budget movies that dominate the movie theaters today.. Excellent high definition picture quality and sound makes this very very highly recommended

Surprisingly funny and quirky
|Posted .Owned for 3 months when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendIt's a very underrated film that is funny. Humor is probably along the lines of Juno in a way. Great supporting cast and just a good movie all around. Glad I could find it for cheap here. Good addition to my collection.

Depressingly Good
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendIn a nutshell, I would say this movie is not for everyone, because of the depressing topic. It's your typical teen drama involving a friendship between a boy and a girl with one of them having a terminal illness. It is surprisingly well-written, with smart humor, and excellent performances by the 3 main actors. I purchased it on sale at $14.99, my typical price point for non-blockbuster films. If you can get it cheaper (during, say, Black Friday), even better. The product packaging is very well done. The blu-ray case I purchased came with a very nice slipcover with a matte finish that's velvet-y to the touch.

One Of 2015's Best!
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friend2015 has brought some great movies. With Mad Max, Jurassic World, Furious 7, and Age of Ultron all hitting big it was nice to get a great drama/comedy for when we needed a break from all the chaos. Me & Earl & The Dying Girl delivers some great performances from the three leads and delivers some powerful cinematography. This is not a chick-flick/teen love story so definitely give it a shot.

great rewatchable movie
|Posted .Owned for 2 months when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendthis movie references a number of classic, fantastic films which makes it appealable to the film buff in me. me and earl is also a highly rewatchable movie that utilizes indie, unique ways to tell its story. the only downside is its focus on the wrong character.
