Outstanding! New life for wired Bose Head Phones!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am extremely impressed with the quality build of this product which is equalled by the stellar 5.0 Bluetooth soul replication! I have an iPhone XS and iPad 11 which both no longer have the 3.5 mm earphone jack. I have invested heavily over the years in some high end, wired NC Bose headphones and earbuds. I just didn't want to give these up for newer BT technology Bose Product. So for short money, I purchased the MEE Audio "Connect RECEIVER BT Adapter" and now I can stream high quality 5.0 BT Music and audio to my Bose devices. I have been able to get 15 hours of use out of one battery charge. As an added bonus, the fact that this device has it's own battery, doesn't force you to drawdown power from your iPhone via the Apple adapter. I highly recommend this product This is well worth the investment.

works good, battery lasts a long time.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased one for me and one for my wife for our vehicles so we could stop having to plug the phone into the Aux cable every time we get in or out of the car just to play music. It also can answer your phone call, just remember that the mic is on the unit, so wherever you keep it is where your voice has to travel... so I don't use it to answer the phone if I can help it. I turn it on when I get into my truck, and it connects very quickly to my phone and I'm playing music. It comes with a shorter Aux cord, so I keep it plugged in and setting in a little cubby in the dash by my radio. You can either skip the music using your phone, or by pressing and holding the + button for a couple seconds. With turning it on and off when getting in or out of the car, a full charge lasts me about a week and a half to two weeks. I take it into work, charge it, and plug it back in when I get back in the truck. Otherwise, it comes with the USB charging cable, so you can charge it with a car charger adapter. On long trips you can have it plugged into both the charger and the aux port of the radio and it will just hang there, its very light. I have experienced the occasional blip of the stream cutting out then back in that lasts less than a second, but I believe that has more to do with my truck syncing bluetooth with my phone for call purposes, and my phone syncing with the device for bluetooth music. It's not enough to annoy me where I stop using it. Have not tried using it inside where my phone is only syncing to one device... I should do that. My wife doesn't use hers because she forgets to bring it in to charge it... I will just hook it up to her car charger and her aux and just leave it on all the time and see how it works for her, then she doesn't have to even think about it. I got it on sale for $25, for that price I think it's a great value, don't think I'd buy it at regular price.

So easy to update old tech
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to use in my garage and connect my phone via Bluetooth to my 10 year old Sony receiver. I took it out of the box plugged it into the CD/Aux in via the included cables. Switched on my iPhone Bluetooth, saw the device and connected. Playing music via Bluetooth to my receiver in under 2 minutes after opening the box. Works great. The Sony also has a USB port that I plugged the MEE receiver into to keep it charged for next time. Couldn’t be easier. I sent another one to my daughter to use in the pioneer elite receiver I gave her that’s about 3 years old and doesn’t have Bluetooth. Just as easy with her also. Great product. I did use the audio enhancement and did notice a difference in the sound. I run my Sony through klipsch bookshelf speakers and a definitive center channel. Sounds great. Highly recommend getting this on sale for 20 bucks.

Excellent way to modernize an old stereo receiver!
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a way to add some modern features to my vintage stereo receiver - and this device really delivers! I connected this to the AUX input on my receiver and in minutes was able to pair it to my Sony walkman, and my Samsung phone. The quality of the sound was very, very good. I had no problem adjusting the volume (using the controls on the device, on my phone or walkman, or on the receiver). It has added new life to my home stereo system!

Glad I bought it!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this item to attach to a non-bluetooth portable speaker and connected this receiver via bluetooth to my phone to listen to music. Love it! Also use it when I want to listen to my non-bluetooth, wired earbuds when I need to listen to YouTube meditational music that I can play all night. The only thing that I don't care for is the bright blue light indicating that it is connected/on. I have to tuck it under my pillow as the light is blinding at night.

Best thing I’ve bought for my BMW.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a 335 that has Bluetooth phone but not Bluetooth audio. The MEE BTR adds Bluetooth capability that the BMW engineers should’ve included with the excelllent Harmon Kardon stereo they put in the car. The BTR provides clear sound that’s indistinguishable from a direct connection of the car to my iPhone via USB. Since I’m no longer using the USB in the console for the phone, it provides a reliable power source for the MEE BTR and keeps its battery charged so I can take it from the car and use it with my home system. I would give five stars, but the MEE doesn’t automatically connect with my phone when I start the car as a factory Bluetooth system would. Instead, I have to manually engage the MEE BTR by turning it off then on again. Other than that it’s perfect. I recommend the MEE BTR.

Great Bluetooth solution for vehicle without it.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The MEE audio - BTR Portable Bluetooth Audio Receiver, has been a great solution for my "HVAC" service van, that does not have Bluetooth. I have tried other things, such as FM transmitters/chargers. But, those have horrible ignition interference/noise, when they are charging. The great thing about this one, is that it can be charged overnight, unplugged, used all day, then do it over again. No ignition noise. Bought it "Deal of the day". A good deal.

Receiver Only
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this during one of the Deal of the Day emails - BTW it shows up there many times so wait until it is on sale. Wanted at the office as the radio stations could not always come in. This way I could use the speaker to transmit a variety of music apps off my phone. Easy to connect. If you are only looking for a receiver and you can find this at half off this one I would recommend. I later decided one that was both a transmitter and a receiver would be even better if you don't want to be wired connected to the treadmill at the gym. My wireless Bluetooth headsets to watch TV at the gym or home is awesome with a Transmitter device. This one cannot handle that. Keep that in mind this one only receives sound.

Q: QuestionWill this work to plug into an airplane video monitor to send sound to Bluetooth headphones?
Asked by Horse54.
- A:Answer I believe this is only a Bluetooth receiver. What you would need would be a Bluetooth transmitter (your headphones are the receiver in this case).

Q: QuestionCan I connect it to my home stereo to play music thought my phone?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer This is a receiver, so you can connect it to a device such as a home stereo that is not equipped with Bluetooth, to play music from a BT transmitting device such as your phone. It has headphone jack connection and the red/white AV connection.
