    Tripod legs don’t lock firmly

Pros: This tripod is compact, lightweight, can carry a load of about 7lb (e.g. Nikon D800 + 70-300mm lens) on a small ball head and plate. It also comes in a variety of fun colors, has a center column that doubles as a selfie stick, a Bluetooth remote for taking selfies on your smartphone, and a folding spring-loaded adapter to securely hold the phone for selfies. Con: The 5-section telescoping tripod legs lock by twisting, and very easily unlock/untwist when a camera and lens are mounted. This is especially true when extending the tripod to its full height (all 5 sections open). This defeats the purpose of having a tripod if it is prone to moving at inopportune times e.g. during long exposures or when using the timer. For me, it effectively makes this tripod cute for selfies but otherwise not fit for purpose, hence the two stars.

Where to start. I didn't want to spend this much on a tripod but looking at other prices for tripods this seemed the most reasonable for the size and sturdiness, But I am happy with this purchase. This stand is very versatile, sturdy, easy to use and light weight. It took a little bit of playing around with it to understand how all the mechanisms work but after the initial set up we really enjoy the ease-of-use and how well this works for our intended use in our setup. Being able to adjust the legs in multiple positions increases or decreases the footprint of the stand itself also with being able to extend each leg individually with a twist lock mechanism makes it easy to use and change on the fly. The ball hinge lock where the camera sits is fantastic I would prefer a wing nut type of lock for the joint lock but the knob on the tripod still works very well. The shoe that comes with the stand makes removing the camera very fast and simple.

I needed a small, lightweight tripod for a several-month trip through Europe. It's not tall enough to reach eye level so there's going to be a little crouching while using this. I wouldn't trust raising the tripod to its maximum height either since it gets a little wobbly and unstable. The legs can be extended/retracted pretty quickly with a twist. Just wished the ball head could pan for panoramas and was a little more substantial since it creeps down with a bigger body/lens mounted on it, but I guess it's a trade-off for the lightweight design.

I bought this specifically to film action videos of mountain biking. The tripod is light and compact enough to pack in and out, and offers way more versatility than some of the alternatives. My only critique (and reason for not giving this a 5) is that the bubble level is covered by the camera mount. In softer conditions, it's preferable to level the camera once everything is all set up. I remedied this by gluing carpenter level bulb replacements into a GoPro frame.

Bought this tripod because of the versatility and compactness of it. ( and the cool color). When I put my new camera and telephoto lense on it, it was very tippy. You need a weighted bag or something on your camera bag to attach and weight the tripod down. It has a smaller footprint than other tripods, the legs were hard to lock in place. Had a couple of times when one leg would start to collapse. I returned this because it did not for work for what I was planning.

The Tripod worked great for my Nikon D7100 with a heavy 24-70mm packs in very small and comes with a carrying bag. although fully extended it does wobble a bit but at around 50 inches it can handle my 5lbs set up. the set up takes less than 2 mins. in conclusion this is perfect for street photography. or traveling and excels with Lighter Mirrorless cameras but can handle a dslr with a light to moderate lensa attached

I was waiting for this one to drop in price and it sure did! At $150, I couldn't pull the trigger, but at $80, it was an easy decision. But after owning now for over 2 months, I have to say that this is well worth the $150 price tag and it's a steal at $80! I have a video review on it which you should be able to find if you google it. (Des on YT)

I have had my fair share of mid-range tripods in my day most of which were Sunpak. This is a very high quality tripod. It has many options and is extremely versatile. It folds to a very totable size and even includes a carry case with a strap. I think the higher price equates to the quality and functionality of this tripod. This might be the last tripod I ever need.
