Synopsis

Memphis
The protagonist of this experimental drama from director Tim Sutton is an unnamed African American singer (Willis Earl Beal) based in Memphis, Tennessee, who believes that he has been blessed by God with formidable talent and vision. In the days that follow, he experiences a significant creative block, and he spends the days that follow commisserating with an amputee friend (Larry Dodson) and visiting churches, recording studios, and his girlfriend's home. ~ Nathan Southern, Rovi
