Affordable laptop!

Great HP laptop!
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.On 4/24/20, I placed an order for an HP laptop online - open box certified in excellent condition by the Geek Squad. My laptop arrived quickly on 5/1/20; however, it didn't work. I immediately called this location and spoke with the manager, Matthew, who informed me that he would be able to exchange it with a new laptop the next day. I came to this location and was assisted by Roxanne, who exchanged my laptop for the new one. The new one was actually cheaper than my original, so I was also given store credit to make up the difference. Thanks to Matthew and Roxanne for their excellent customer service, especially during these times of the pandemic when I really needed a laptop - greatly appreciated and will definitely be a repeat customer :)

- A:Answer When I activated my subscription, I was given the option to enable auto-renew so I don't think it is mandatory. As a bonus, I was offered one extra month free if I did enable auto-renew and saw that it is possible to disable the auto-renew option afterwards if you don't actually want it to auto-renew. This is an easy way to gain an extra month. Don't let the auto-renew portion of the title scare you away from this product.

- A:Answer One of the things you have to be aware of, is if you buy Office 2016 Home/Student, it DOES NOT come with Outlook. You need either Office 365 subscription or the Office 2016 Home and Business which is much more costly. If you don't care about Outlook, there are a number of free programs compatible with Microsoft products that are free. Open Office is one that is quite nice and files are kept on your PC and many like Google Docs if you like to keep things in the cloud.
