Improved Xbox One controller
|Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Overall, this is basically just an XBOX One controller, but with some improvements. The sticks don't clack as loud as an original xbox one controller. The share button helps without having to press home + x/y every time you want to take a capture. The sticks are a bit stiff but just feel like they need to be broken in. The D-Pad is a lot more comfortable to use than the One's D-Pad. The only real issues I have is a lack of motion controls for potential improvements in aiming, like a switch pro controller or a PS4 controller. And there is still no included recharging battery or cable, so you still have to either buy a rechargeable battery or buy AA batteries. If you like the Xbox One controller, this is an objective improvement.

Good update to an already amazing PC controller.
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Good update to an already amazing controller. This is very similar to the xbox one s controller but the D-Pad is much more responsive. There is also a nice texture on the back of the controller that gives it a great grip. This is in my opinion the best 3D controller for PC Gaming. If you play a lot of 2D games maybe you want to get an 8BITDo as well but for shooters, 3D platformers, racing etc this is the way to go NOTE: make sure you download the XBOX Accessories app on your PC and update the controller firmware, otherwise it won't work with your Windows PC

Best Console Controller
|Posted .Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I purchased the Microsoft Xbox Series Wireless Controller (Shock Blue) for my nephew for Christmas so he can have an additional controller for his Xbox One S. The main thing that I he likes about it is the stippled texturing on the triggers and the back of the controller. The bumpers and triggers have a matte finish, which he says more nicer to him. There's a new share button on the center of the controller, which from what he said makes it easier to save screenshots and video clips. One press for screenshot or hold for video clip. Also, to view recent clips you can fouble press the share button to see them. My nephew is an avid gamer and has been since birth and loves playing Fortnite. He gets sweaty hands after long sessions of gaming and the grip on the controller helps. He can experience incredible intensity, precision and comfort of the Xbox Wireless Controller and also feel vibration feedback and jolts in high definition which he loves! The controller is wireless and fits perfectly on a rechargeable battery holder. The controller itself fits comfortably in his mid-sized hands and the triggers are very responsive. The main differences are the feel of the controller itself and the D-pad. It now has a lot more textured feeling, which extends to the bumpers and triggers. The bumpers used to be glossy and slippery and now they're more of a matte finish. The D-pad returns to the more "paddle" like one from the Xbox 360 but is much improved from that version and feels tight and clicky instead of wobbly. It also is very responsive with a satisfying mechanical feel and is faster and more responsive than the XB1 controller This controller has USB-C instead of Micro USB, Better texture on the handles, Grippy triggers, Built in Bluetooth, and a new D-Pad. It includes Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth technology for wireless gaming on supported consoles. Such as, Windows 10 PCs, Android phones, and tablets. Hopefully iOS support coming in the future. There is also a 15 day Xbox Game Pass included. Barring the elite controller, this is hands-down my nephew's favorite controller for any console to date. Well done, Microsoft you out done yourself with this one!

Outstanding improvements across the board
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Great controller all around. A refinement of an already great Xbox One controller to be honest. The textured feel of the controller, the change to the bumpers and triggers shape and form are all welcome changes. The addition of a dedicated share butting is also a welcome enhancement. Lastly, the updated D-pad is crisp and responsive and a welcome addition. When you throw in the fact that it can work with the new Series S and Series X as well as work with older Xbox One console... you cannot go wrong with this purchase.

Evolution not revolution
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Great controller. I've always been a fan of the xbox controllers design (except for the DUKE) on the original xbox. This is more a evolution than revolution than the competition, but when it is this good you don't need to really rebuild from scratch.

Great controller except one thing!
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I love this controller! At first it felt a bit smaller and that’s because it is, so now kids can use it easier than before. But other than that, the texture on the back is great for grip even though it isn’t rubber, and I’ve found that it keeps my hands from feeling sticky or sweaty during long gaming sessions! Also the share button is an amazing feature that I personally use all the time to take snapshots really quickly without pausing the game, and hold it to take clips. Lastly, the new d-pad is super nice and doesn’t hurt to rest your thumb there for games that use it. The USB-C upgrade is also very welcome, it was about time. Overall the controller feels great in the hands and more sturdy than previous Gen controllers. I only wish that they would improve the vibration mechanism inside.

I like it a lot :)
|Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Microsoft has finally taking that if it ain't broke mentality and actually made the controller better. I have many controllers and have experience with the elite series Controllers and by far this is the best standard controller that Xbox has made. They have tightened up thumbsticks. The triggers actually seem Like they have shorter travel than previous generations. The view button is actually a necessity ring that it is cumbersome getting to the app to record in the middle of a game. Thank you for listening MS. I've added a few more features to make this controller a necessity with any shooter game.

Best controller ever.

Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5First I would like to say this is a great controller. I have 4, ranging from an original to elite, and this thing is best yet. The textured back plate, and the soft responsive buttons make this the perfect controller. Don't waste money on a no name brand.. you will be missing out on a quality product made to do what it does best. It completes my collection for now, no need for another,, liking the blue color!!
