They are easy to install and offer limited protection but I would add a skin to protect the entire device outside with these bumpers. (See photo). The bumpers can not be removed and reapplied so make sure you take the time to install them. Overall am very happy with them as they are better than nothing.

Protects the edges really well. It sticks to the edges great.

Excellent to have for grip but I would not get these and expect protection of your phone. Aside to that they look nice and are easy to install and protect the edges and also make it so the back doesn't slide when you lay your phone on a flat surface. So I'd say it offers "some" very very limited protection but not much more than that and extra grip on top of looking good. I'd give em 5 stars if they cost only $5 but because they're much more than that and really don't offer much I'd give em only two stars and even that's being generous for what you're really getting. I'd only recommend them because of the grip they provide and the look only. If you're going to get a case, I would not bother.
